After School ranked #10 in National Album Sales of 2012 =O. They ranked #20 in Digital Sales.

Orange Caramel ranked #13 in digital sales for 2012.

Since After School hasn't released anything new in a while, I wanted to get your guys' opinions on something. Do you guys prefer After School's Korean album or Japanese album? Just curious; they're so different.

Honestly I think in Japan, they each sing more? Like in Virgin, Juyeon and Uie kinda only sang in Shampoo..which is really sad. But they've improved so I'm really looking forward. I hope they would have more songs AS A GROUP rather than have unit songs and solos that comprise most of the album.

I think I'm looking forward to their Korean album more. I think they really NEED a Japanese single soon. its been 6 months and they havent really used KaEun's ability for the Japanese market, which was their intention when they added her. Kinda ironic.

The japanese album is really good, my least favourite is Miss Futuristic.
I need to listen Virgin again, i can't remember many songs

The only songs I like from Virgin (not counting the previous singles) is Let's Step Up and Virgin itself hahaha I tolerate Shampoo.

Thank you so much for posting about the album release! I was expecting that we'd get another single before the album but I'm happy that they're releasing an album instead. Based on the information provided in the link, it looks like there will be two limited editions with a DVD (Tsutaya seems to be selling them bundled together in that link). If it's anything like After School's Japanese album release, one will probably have music videos while the other one may have live performances. Anyways, I'm super excited about it and I hope that preorder links will appear on other websites soon!

Seems like the general consensus is that the Japanese album is better and I have to agree. The Korean album was good, but could be quite dull at times. I love the singles but it's hard to remember some of the album tracks even though I've listened to Virgin many times.

I'm happy to hear Orange Caramel is releasing a full-length Japanese album... but I would prefer to hear that After School as a whole is releasing something new.

To be honest i'm a bit tired of Orange Caramel, XD.
They released a korean album, 2 japanese singles, a single with NUES'T, and now a full japanese album, and what happened with After School ?? NOTHING !!!! That's a reason for hate sub-units.

Anyway, i'm sure i'm going to listen their album, and i'm going to like it, damn it !!

i dun really like the idea how AS's comeback keeps getting delayed. I understand Pledis wants them to branch out so that they would have something to do when they graduate and stuff but not focusing on music is also a bad thing. I tihnk they gotta find a balance. AS is definitely not at the stage where they can have 1 comeback per year...since their popularity really doesnt feel THAT high. but seeing how Flashback did, honestly, if they appeared more on MUSIC shows, they could really get somewhere big in 2013. I think 2013 will be the birth of a new subunit though...haha

If it were up to me, the only previous tracks that would make it to the Japanese album would be My Sweet Devil and Lum no Love Song. All the rest would be new songs or new covers, but we all know that won't happen.
