I knew we wouldn't have too many people, but I hoped for at least like 20 or even 30, and it wasn't even 10 at 8am. And I see fewer than 15 people in the tag right now.

I was busier than I thought recently but I joined in tweeting her now. I hope it will result in something, in spite of the low participation. Perhaps we can keep tweeting her every now and then throughout the day? Isn't she bound to notice the number of tweets that have come in?

I think if you're planning a campaign like this, decisions need to be made quick and then you need to make people aware of it. Designing a signature and making it available for all users on AHS and various forums would have been a good strategy. Slowly everyone would begin to wonder why they are constantly seeing the same visual signature, and take notice of it. Additionally, an informational graphic that could be shared easily via Facebook, tumblr and Twitter would have worked out nicely.

^^ She'll only notice the tweets if we all tweet her at once, at the same time. If we tweet a lot, but at a different times, our tweets will be mixed among all the other random tweets she gets, and will be lost. And it's not like she's constantly on twitter, checking the replies and stuff, she's a busy woman after all

But yeah, I think we should keep tweeting and hoping anyway.

Maybe we could try doing this again someday. But I'm afraid even fewer people will participate then lol

Zeke is right. Perhaps we rushed a bit. We should have promoted this more so that more people would know. Let's set another date. Tho I will send a few more tweets right now just in case. Dreams don't cost a thing.

Yeah, Zeke, good point about the visual! I think we could create a banner or something, but we'd need someone who'd make it look good.

I also want to add a couple of things:

1) Everyone should at least post like 5 tweets. The more tweets the more chances for Ayu to notice. Of course spamming shouldn't be overdone, like 50 tweets from one person all at once is too much. But I think like 5-10 tweets at the designated time, with maybe a span of 1 minute between each, would be good enough

2) We should really pick the time carefully, maybe do a little research at what time Ayu is normally active on twitter. The perfect option would be to wait for Ayu's first tweet on the designated day and start spamming Ayu at that time, then she's more likely to notice. Unfortunately I don't think it's possible since we all live in different timezones and I don't think many people would agree to stay up and wait for Ayu's tweets, and it'd be a mess. So our best bet is to figure out when she's most likely to be active beforehand.

You all made a valid point and we should discuss ways to improve this project in the following days, for sure. But as it's already started, let's keep on twitting and see if something happens... so please continue on twitting for today? ^^
