I admit that their recent live performances weren't good , especially Best Artist 2017

They sounded as though they were shouting instead of singing KINGDOM :x

Anyway I rather they sing live horribly then lip sync unlike some other Johnnys , COUGH COUGH

I wonder what will NEWS release next after LPS . Seems like a new album is highly likely but with just LPS preceding it , that's daunting but there have been albums where only 1 single is included but yet they sound great

Reason why a brief live performance of U R not alone from NEWS LIVE TOUR 2017 NEVERLAND DVD/Blu-ray was shown last Fri during MUSIC STATION 2 hours special is because MUSIC STATION aired a poll on the top 20 songs that stuck a chord with high school students

I didn't quite like NEWS's performance of LPS last Fri and just like Best Artist 2017 , they sounded as though they were shouting & not singing . Tegoshi & Masuda were ok but Koyama wasn't good at all

On a side note , #1 is ARASHI's Fight Song which deserves so as it's still 1 of their best B-sides

LPS PV reminds me of Coldplay's Yellow as both settings are in a beach and it's just NEWS walking and singing at the same time

Not very exciting imo but at least the song is good . Then again , LPS PV was shot using a drone so :O

A mother who lost her son requested for “LPS” in Tegomass no Radio on January 10. The listener said that she lost her son to an accident 2 years ago, on his 19th birthday. While she’s been packing things away bit by bit, it was hard and time has stopped in his room. However, the lines “Naitatte warattatte ashita wa yattekuru kara” (tomorrow comes whether you laugh or cry) from the NEWS' new song, “LPS”, made her think it might be okay to move on, and to start packing the remaining things. She thanked them for giving her strength and letting her think everything will be okay. She’ll continue supporting them, and she loves Massu. Massu thanked her, and said he’s really happy if them or their songs can become the trigger for them to look forward, even if it’s just by a little. Tegoshi said he knows how to become more positive after losing someone - to think of the values and intangible things that the person has left behind for them, and it isn’t the end. NEWS is very happy that their song is giving the mother strength and inspiration to move on.

Not surprised about a new album but in a way I was hoping for a special 15th anniversary release

EPCOTIA sounds intriguing & if it will be on par if not better than NEVERLAND , then that will be great
