SAVAGE 1st week chart performance: #39 on the Oricon physical album chart (1221 copies), #41 on the Oricon combined album chart (1659 pt).

Finally, I listened to SAVAGE and I don't remember any songs. They're all too much alike. Nothing outstanding. I surprised myself by seeing that two or three songs were already played without realising it. :/

He just had his first TV performance!
On Buzzrhythm.
His part starts at around minute 39, he performed ICBU.

I find his new album really, really boring.
Yes, it's cohesive, but in a very anticlimactic way, so one-dimensional.
The best song for me is I Like It and it sticks out like a sore thumb (which is probably the reason he put it at the end...).
Hope he gets more interesting again with his music.

News round-up:

Taichi recorded a cover song, I Believe, for Another Voice –Full Of Harmony Tribute Album– released in November. The song also got a PV released halfway through December:



It looks like this PV was what he was recording in the instagram posts shared by Corvina above.

On the last day of 2019, a live video of Michi from the SAVAGE tour was uploaded to his youtube channel. Sharing this mostly because this live cut was a pleasant surprise, I enjoyed his voice and performance here more than in the studio version.

Finally, Taichi is featured with SONPUB on Shingo Katori's new album 20200101 on a track called Now & Forever (feat. SONPUB & MUKAI TAICHI):



I Believe is a total snoozefest, but I like Now & Forever!

Also, Taichi shared some preliminary information about his schedule for this spring, most notably including news that he will release a new EP in May! source

His new EP Supplement was released July 29, only digitally tho.
What do you guys think of it?
The lead track 僕のままで is really good!
The rest is going the same boring direction as Savage for me, but I'm happy to have a song I like again!

He also just released some Supplement goods in collaboration with Lee Izumida, supporting the release live for the EP being held August 28.

I like the EP a lot, it sounds very fresh. The only track that I don't like is Comin' Up.

Taichi released a new single, Get Loud, this week! It's a CM song for EDWIN Jerseys.



It's a great anthemic pop number, I really love it!

He's also releasing a live Blu-ray of Supplement Live at Zepp Haneda(TOKYO) on December 23rd! It's a limited release through his label's merch shop, available here.
