I really thought Ayu and Max should've just bought part of Avex and maintained it themselves along with other artists close to Mr. Matsuura. In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if those 10+ remixes on her singles came back...

Max is king, so where he goes, they follow. my hypothesis (haha) is that probably max had an idea for another release or something on that basis (like a 10 track single? ) and avex firmly said no, so he left. along w/ ayu and several other artists. than they realized its just a single and its not worth losing them, so they begged everyone back, let them do whatever they want, and paid them big bucks. yep, avex sure was showed up. ownage, my hero max matsuura. ayu's next single:
