What? That's a weird concept, you've been watching too much anime, there is an anime where Japan's biggest idol is a robot. I can see why you think that, but wow, Ayu is real ^o^

I've been thinking about this for a little while myself. Sometimes (as insane as it may be) I wonder if she's even human. Her words touch me in seemingly, all the right places in my heart and I just can't answer why.

When I watch her videos like any of her ballads...I just break down and cry like a baby. As if I can CLEARLY understand what it is she's trying to say...yet I don't speak any Japanese past what's commonly seen in an anime.

It's almost like that good old fashioned soul music your parents say will never come back to the industry ever again...but it's so much more intense and filled with something more. I can't even say that any other artist in my 16 years of living has been able to deliver that kind of feeling to me like that. (And I listen to anything that comes my way from 1930's blues to 1980's rock)

I think I knew that something was different about Ayu when I saw the PV for Forgiveness...I just thought I would die of tears because the song was so beautiful to me. I also felt like there was something I had to do at the end of that song; I needed to go and see her for myself like some people have already stated before.

Perhaps we are connected to each other in some kind of way...did it ever dawn on us that perhaps Ayu was an angel or something sent to sing to our hearts? Maybe there IS more to Ayu than most of us think...even my mother, who is as connected to Japanese popular culture as my elderly next door neighbor had to sit down and really think about Ayu when she saw her videos. The same song, Forgiveness; had her stunned and without words for nearly five minutes from crying so hard with me. Even she wants to meet this, "Ayumi Hamasaki" in person one day.

Sometimes I wonder if there was a connection to us all in a past life or something. I know it's bizzare but I think it's true. There's just something up with Ayu and I just can't figure it out.

The fact that she can be so flawless looking is all thanks to professional make up ,lighting and photograhing.

Now that you've mentioned this, I'm starting to think maybe ayu isn't a real person existing at all but dah, sounds silly of me.

yes, I do think ayu sometimes seem unreal. =_=; *coughs* her skin IS too smooth.. Like, where do those stress pinples go?! oxo;; but anyways. She's really good at what she does. Writing lyrics that ppl can relate to. She can acknowledge she's not the best out there...And she's different. =) I don't think you can find any other artists out there like her. Because she's unique, I guess it's hard to picture she's real at all. That's why I wanna see her LIVE!! T_T

I think it's amazing how she can have so many different looks just by changin her hairstyle! (she uses an awful lot of wigs ) Like in her music videos M and Rainbow. She looks so much younger and more innocent with straight long hair and bangs in Rainbow than she does in the part where she's singing in front of the cathedral in M. And the whole bride thing... Suffice to say that she looked very beautiful. It's almost scary how she can pull all of them off. And in Angel's Song, Inspire and Ourselves... the difference is huge and yet they all work for her! She can be all innocent and cute and yet have like this almost punk-rock side. It's cool and you're all right...it seems SURREAL.

i've tried to analyze my thought..why have such feelings...

at first i thought itz 'cus ayu wanna be like a doll...'cus ayu said she's a dream herself...

then i thought it maybe computerized effects...when u look at her pics sometimes.....i think datz computer alterations that just make her looks...unreal....her skin can be so very smooth...too smooth that it seems lifeless....like a doll's procelin face....

i dun know why..but these feelings would come up some time..then fade away..then come up again...

ayu can be so unreal...or....SURREAL

Oh my goodness, you need therapy O_o. LOL.

Ayu is very much real.

She is a real person.

This isn't a [Symone] sort of thing. Ayu's the real thing, yo'. At least that's what I think.

I think we are capable of such things too, if we can afford all the professional helps she gets, and is making living by doing these things.

I don't think mimika's going too far. It's a good question to ask; at least she's trying to pay attention to her surroundings. For all we know Ayu could be another BTK killer in disguise or maybe just a regular person like us. (No i don't think she's a serial killer I'm just saying that she's mysterious) I guess whoever said only Ayu knows for sure is right. Perhaps we'll just never know.

BTW, What's a [Symone] kind of thing??? I've seen that all over the place and I can't quite figure out what it means.
