I LOVE the song, and the production quality I must say is pretty good. However, eventhough it did look cool and all, I'm a little dissatisfied with the whole concept of the PV. Granted, it is fun to watch, but I'm just wondering how the song actually relates to some of those scenes thrown in there.

so it's a parody eh? I immediately noticed from some screenshots Britney's "Toxic" video.. I bet there's more stuff once I see it. I wonder why she would do that tho, she thinks it's annoying? Does the song's lyrics relate to the parody?

It's so lame that it was entertaining.

There are so many video editting mistakes, and bad acting lol.

Even though it was really, really bad, I liked it anyways.

7/10

i'm disppointed with this PV, it did lack originality, BUT if this is a parody then I'LL love this PV well it was quite entertaining but cheesy. My fav parts was when Ayu was coughing and in the end when she pulled her mask lol

so hopefully it's a parody if not then this PV is cheeeesy to me

Wow.
This song is pretty boring.
The video is suprisingly worse than the song.
Even if it's a parody, it's still really bad.

The only good part was the end.

2006 is not startin' off as I would have hoped. But from what I've heard about 'Born to Be...', that song might be able to help this single, but probably not enough to make it worth buying.

I hate it when Ayu tries hard to look sexy, because it is not.

I find it really disturbing when the dancers touches Ayu at the end...

WTF? "Daybreak" is wonderful and deep. "Startin'" is so cheesy.

Parody? It seems to me the plot of the video is a talent competition, and Ayu is eliminating her competitors.

First competitors: The black and white guy in the beginning, in the end, she pretends to be the white guy, so that's why the white guy never appeared at the talent show...
Truck people: I guess they were going to compete, too, since they were trying to block off Ayu.

It's nice to finally see a PV with REAL energy! Ayu looks great as usual, but I really don't like those glasses on anyone...

The song is pretty addictive!

i enjoyed this video cuz it was funny. yeah the special effects were lame, the skit is a little cheesy, but i thought the song fit will with the video. However, her pink leather chaps are a little too similar to britney's outfit in the Overprotected remix video. even the top is a little similar.

and is it me or does she do a lot of those sexy "paris hilton" poses....lol.

anyways, i'm glad she has black hair now. i was getting so tired of her blonde hair.

(ps. don't really get the ending...but it was cute!)

Yup. She usually just looks awkward or something.
She's definetely pretty, but I could never see her as sexy.

why do we need to understand the PV...cant people just watch it for what it is instead of critisizing it and trying to make connections...its just a fun PV...i doubt that there is any deep thoughts in it. nor does there need to be. just let it be a PV, doing what its supposed to do, broadcast the song.

People expect every Ayu PV to be deep - .-;; sheesh.

Yes it was very lame, but it was entertaining none-the-less, and it made me laugh. But it did remind me of kill bill, but that's all.

"Startin'" is certainly not a PV I will watch twice.

And I agree, she's not starting 2006 well.

By George, I think you've got it. SO there IS a plot.

I don't expect her PVs to always be meaningful.

There's a difference between a fun PV and a stupid one.

i liked the song, but was disappointed with the PV...i was skipping thru the whole thing. It was very cheesy and stupid. B&D PV was so much better than this...way better.

I really think this PV is a parody. The effects look SO lame, she looks like those other pop singers like Britney (not offending, it's just that Ayu's not like her), and the motorbike scene is just like Toxic (if it's not a parody, where's creativity? It looks exactly the same for me).

I hope it's explained better by her sometime.. I was expecting too much, I think it's funny, but not as good as I expected to be.

I dunno, I like the PV. It's rather colourful, plus the guys in the beginning are funny. I do rather like the end, plus the butterfly sunglasses.

For some reason, it may be just me, but I do feel a reason behind the PV. Not just a parody, but I can't really think right now...
