Unless any of you doubt Ayu too and his words kinda of touch you....For me his words have no meaning so I won't even lose my nerves calling him names or something. Just forget about this guy. hahaha Haven't you tried to think that by calling him names and saying this and that about him you're all being to him exactly what he's being like to Ayu? hahahah

But we actually like Ayu, that's why were defending her. Hey, what goes around comes around, so he shouldn't be criticizing her. When he was younger, I bet he was off key too and no one made a big deal out of it. He should keep his comments to himself.

Gosh did Alan Tam saw Ayu's performance at the China Japan Exchange program? Issit the one she sang Free and Easy!?! If it is, I think I know why Alan Tam said that coz I also got watched that and she's really 80% of her lyrics out of tune and basically, she was shouting out his lyrics all the way. But *strange* thing is that I am wondering, I was Ayu perform free and easy on music station, it was okay and she did great on her free and easy performance in the arena tour 2002 concert <--even though she was sitting down while singing. How come sometimes Ayu can manage her live singing very well and sometimes she can't?

Don't worry I won't mind everyone calling him names. I know it is really horrible to see someone being so picky on our favorite artist. But there will always be people who think bad about someone and will say this and that so getting angry with such person is really not worth it in my opinion.

you can't just watch an artist live just once and assume that they are going to always sing that way. i mean, live artists have trouble doing that too.. didn't he??

Well its not that Ayu's a bad vocalist, she's actually a great vocalist (IMHO). I think it's because of all the stuff that she does: commercials, tv interviews, appearances, performances, phto shoots and the various touring. It's kinda ignorant for us to think she can sing perfect all the time with all that work. She did have 3 concert tours last year and probably that much this year. I dont know any j-pop artst that had that much work and i bet if Hikaru Utada had that much of a work load, people wouldnt be raving so much about her overated singing.

I am totally agree with that.

No one is perfect 100% for his/her live performances. Can Alan GUARANTEE his live performances are truly non-lips-synced, non-off-keyed???

I would nail him very very hard IF I ever see one of his live performances which were off-keyed or lyrics-forgotten..... whatever flaw. He got himself into this.

He's plain old school. If he criticises Ayumi's singing off-key, I accept that gladly. But the phrase of "Not enough qualification" is really, really pising me off.

Extreme idiot, He says he can't stand young singer who can't sing? Oh god y is he still here? Everyone knows that when he is young, his songs ppl hear liao quickly go turn off the radio ok, he is jealous, u know wat, i went to his own forum, and his own childhish fans actually agree with their oh so old and ugly idol!

Alan tam cannot sing and cannot act, only know how to say crap and use his SENIORITY, oh pls.... does he know that ppl pity him, thats y listen to him!

Ayu sings thousands of live every year, Alan tam got ppl hire him sing more than one live concert in 1 year he can be happy already, the two of them is uncomparable.

Haha 8000 ppl only in your concert u so happy liao, hey u are talking about Beijing concert u know, in Beijing, the concert tix prices is only i believe less than half of the amt of ayu's concert tix price, no need to brag lah hor. ppl go ur concert to enjoy air-con and yet you can be so happy think they listen to you SING! HAHAHA!

I think the worst thing you guys could do to Alan Tam would be to ignore him. By getting upset you are giving him exactly what he wants: attention. I'm sure he realized that publicly criticizing a pop star as prominent as Ayumi Hamasaki would result in controvery and attacks from her fans. It would also result in lots of publicity for him. As they say in the industry "no publicity is bad publicity".
