I love the direction she is going and almost always loved it, but I just miss the amount of stuff we use to get!

I don't miss the "old" Ayu, I only miss my old perceptions of her. In actuality, I can't say she's really changed much - still seems like the same old Ayu to me. However, I especially preferred her singing voice from I am... to GUILTY, so I guess I miss that about her. Oh, and I miss crea.

These and I'll add some too:

- Her funny MC sessions with Yo-chan.
- Concerts where she just sang ballads without any Shu-ya/Ayu drama. Those were the best things about her older concerts for me.
- Her gorgeous vocals from 2002-2003.

Can't say I really miss the "old" Ayu simply because it's just life. I mean she was cool as hell in her late teens-20s but she grew up and maybe felt like she's done everything already (she has too!). But the only thing I can really truly miss were those CRAZY COOL NAILS >

Definitely the quality of the music she produced, her image, and the execution of album concepts. 'Past Ayu' is pretty immaculate, there are very few songs that I can say I don't particularly enjoy from earlier albums (A song for xx - MY STORY).

I miss the pre-crazy ass vibrato Ayu...I realize this only lasted through three albums (ASFXX, Duty, I am...), but I thought her voice was so cute before she developed that deep & resonating vibrato.

Also, I miss her high notes. Every once in awhile she'll surprise us by belting out a high note, but it'll never be quite the same. I'd say her high note capabilities kind of started to diminish after Secret.

Let's see...I miss Crea of course & always will. I've said this several times before.

& This is not that important, but I really miss her long, beautiful hair :/...

The only things I really miss about old Ayu are:

- The amount of magazine shoots. They were so many, but now..
- CMs. Want more CMs! Especially cute and funny like Boss ones.
- Singles. I hope she will release a single, a summer single maybe :3

As far as the "old" Ayu goes, I don't really miss her. I know when I became a fan everything was new and perfect, and it. Was because there was so much to discover. After listening to all her songs I did have my faves but everything wasn't perfect. I am... Taught me that I liked some stuff from her faaaar better xD
Even now, I dislike some of her older stuff because she had the squeaky voice Dx
I guess I'm pretty open with her stuff and largely like her new material (except for NL, of course). I realize a lot of people want "2001-2003" Ayu back, but she won't come back.
