New Linkin Park Album Minutes to Midnight, May 15

I love it!! I think the album is really well made!!
I mean 200 Demos it HAD to be the best of the best!!!

^I think that's what makes most of the old LP (and others of course) sad...that out of 200 demos, this was the best of the best.

I'm sure the album will grow on me, I'm just a little sad.

it was ok but it wasnt the best for me i expected something more out of it .

After actually listening to it, I'm kind of disappointed. After 4 years of waiting, it's sad that this is what they came up with :/ The only song I truly like is Given Up, the rest, not terrible, but won't get many more listens. Actually, it just made me want to listen to their other albums again

^ it definitely takes a not-so-good album for you to recognise just how truely brilliant LPs other albums are.

I would expect Leave All Out The Rest to be the next single, it's catchy, seriously... that, or Shadow Of The Day, which might not be as catchy, but it somewhat sounds like U2 and pretty radio-friendly.

True that. I only really liked maybe 3 or 4 songs. I used to be able to say I liked all the LP songs. Maybe ive changed, maybe they have. But its not LP of Meteora and the others.

I don't get how it is that they came up with so many song demos, and chose these songs to be on the album It just sounds bland to me I think Meteora was a lot better

me too! the LP albums were those ones where i loved every single song!

i've noticed that the reviews of LP's new album in the paper are all good... i suppose this album is attracting a different fan-base

QWERTY is good, better then pretty much anything of Minutes to Midnight....though I still think it's weaker then most of the stuff from Meteora and of course, Hybrid Theory

Chester trying to do two or more different sets of vocals so close together doesn't work too well IMO.

QWERTY sounds slightly like a song from Meteora (nobody's listening?) it's ok... but weaker. =/

Haven't heard the full album yet, but in our newspapers and such it got good reviews. 4 out of 5 stars... but reading your reactions... I do hope it's good or will grow on us.
