these new b-sides are really good. "Carried away" is fun & "Do It Again" is great cheesy kylie pop.

"Cherry Bomb" is just genius, the voice manipulations are just perfect. They really should have left Nu-Di-Ty off th album and replaced it with Cherry Bomb, and possibly released it as a single too

^ there's a swear word in the picture, I had to remove it. was this forum togerland? lol

Kylie is doing surprisingly well in the US iTunes, considering that there's no promotion. but "4 minutes" will end up selling more, i'm sure of it.

Yeah lol... quite a strange place.

I'm happy she's going to be on Ellen plus Dancing with the Stars and Today. That's pretty damn good promotion! It might have a chance State side but I don't get why there is no video out yet. If they're going to the trouble of actually promoting it this well then they should have a video.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show - 2008/04/03
International pop superstar and cancer survivor Kylie Minogue will perform "All I See" from her new CD, "X."
also the US edition of X that's due next month will have a bonus track: "All I See feat MIMS". MIMS is a rapper so the bonus track is basically just the original song with a few raps from this rent-a-rapper included

IMA & Wow are doing pretty well in Europe. "All I See" is rumored to get a video too for the US promo. I'm pretty sure there's going to be a one more single cut from the album for EU+UK markets tho.

also here's a good remix of In My Arms. supposedly it's a version for the german radio, but it's not confirmed or anything so it might as well be a good fanmade mix.

togerland is just way too much for me lol, but the download section is great.

i'm happy that Kylie has promo in the US & she's doing ok in the iTunes. but I do beleive they had US promo for Body Language too and it bombed hard.
I don't know if All I see is the best possible choice tho, I think rather than mimicking the typical mainstream RnB-pop scene with the rent-a-rappers and all they should go for something that's different from whats the typical "in" thing in the US.
CGYOOMH & LAFS were huge hits and they are not the typical US chart material. tho there isn't quite a song to match those singles on X, but I think Like A Drug or In My Arms would have been better to lead the US promo.
I think it's better for Kylie to set herself apart from other artists rather than mimick them. I like All I See, but I don't see it as a strong single ...

the Today Show was cool, I thought it was funny how they asked about that french actor dude. it's been for for kylie & him for a long time already lol.
but overall it was a good interview & the overview of her career was good.

DSWTS had some major issues. first of all, there were clearly some major technical issues with the sound: the music was way too mellow compared to her vocals. All I see performance sounded choppy cos she only sang parts of the chorus and you could not hear the backing vocals cos they were too low.
She also looked so cheap, obvious wig and that glittery trashy dress

at least the CGYOOMH was great, I really like that 2008 mix. She looked just radiant with a cool getup; too bad the focus was half on those two dancers & their lame coreography

All I See does not sound good live. She should have just performed IMA and taken her chances with the music that's not mainstream in the US, rather than emulate Janet. and no one cares about Janet anyways anymore lol

I think the new mix of CGYOOMH is going to be on the UK single of IMA, I can't wait to have a cd version of it

"All I See" live on US television again: live @ The Craig Ferguson Late Late Show

a million times better than on DWTS. she sounds great: the songs is properly mixed and audio levels are perfect, and she looks great with her own hair and a classy dress instead of that hot mess getup on DWTS.

Kylie supposedly will be appaearing on American Idol too, in the "Idol Gives Back" Special. hopefully she'll perform

Wow, they're actually promoting X here in the states. That's really good news, because if you ask most people in the US about Kylie Minogue they'll either say, "Who?!", or, "Isn't she the one that sang that 'la la la, la la la la la' song?" I'll definitely be picking up my cop tomorrow

I still haven't heard the new b-sides. The links provided in the thread didn't work for me Maybe I'll be able to find the singles on torrents soon :/

Edit: Just a heads up for you guys, In My Arms is now #1 on the iTunes Canada video charts. Maybe the interview got her some attention

Wow is the number one video in iTunes UK. Has anyone heard it on the radio in the US? I'm gonna request it tomorrow.

I think you would have more luck requesting the American single.

Speaking of which, here is the link to a blog that has the All I See promo CD. I'm assuming they'll use the rap version featuring some guy named Mims.

Wow came it at #11 in Aus, her first single not to make the Top 10 in forever... I would be sad, if I did'nt see it coming from a million miles away.

WRONG SONG! WRONG VIDEO!

All the intense promotion for nothing.

That's a shame.

Wiki says X has sold 713,800+ copies. I don't think it will end up selling more than Body Language.

OMG, the b-sides for "Wow" are ... wow. I love love love "Carried Away", and I bought both EP's of iTunes; the one with the video, and the b-side EP. I love the single mix of "Wow" much more to the album mix, actually.

omg, I LOVE X!!! It's SO amazing. I know a lot of people don't like the dance-poppy songs on the same album as songs like Sensitized, but for some reason it makes sense to me xDD I just love the whole retro feel of the album 8D My fave tracks are 2 Hearts, Like a Drug, In My Arms, Speakerphone (<333 most addictive song on the album), The One, Wow, Nu-di-ty, and Cosmic~ Cosmic is SUCH a beautiful song, Kylie really has a beautiful voice :3
