here's my story:

i was in shanghai in june of 2002 and i happened to see ayu's "free and easy" playing on tv. i thought it was SUPER catchy, so when my flight stopped in tokyo on the way back to the states, i picked up a copy of it at the DoReMi store inside of Narita Airport.

My first Ayu cd was A Best, I bought sometime in yr 2003. I've heard the songs in Memorial Address but I didn't buy that instead. lolz. -_-

I've heard abt Ayu since Duty era. But I never thought of buying a Jpop album so until 2003 I thought maybe I shld get one since Ayu's songs are nice. Ar.. I shld have bought them earlier. I totally have no regrets collecting Ayu albums =D

Same! A few days after my purchase of memorial address (my first album), a friend saw me with it and asked if i bought Rainbow as well. During that weekend, i went to HMV and got it

RAINBOW in 2003 or it might have been the Moments single...I'm not quite sure, and to this day it bothers me that I can't remember which one I got first. :/

Followed shortly by I am... and then Memorial Address right after it was released.

COMPLETE LIVE BOX but that is not a CD exactly.... So, Fly high single probably. This was October last year. I didn't have a credit card before that so it was impossible to buy any Ayu stuff.

hmmm lets see i was 15 years old, and it was my period of anime/manga/japanese culture think i told my cousin to buy me a couple of good jpop albums and A Best was one of them back in 2002.
So yeah A Best 2002.

my first ayu cd was RAINBOW, because it was also the first ayu album I ever listened to. I bought it in summer 2006 from yesasia. no exciting stories abroad.
