tbh, nothing happened to her. lulz. Did you not see this shoot during MW's promotional period? She's just "growed up" now. I mean she's nearing 30. She can't wear jeans for all the shoots like she did 5 years ago..

That pose is killing it for me.

There a plenty of starlets who wear jeans and still look hawt without look'n fake or a 5 year-old. @_@ Lee Hyori is a prime example. Despite her age, she looks very down-to-earth and hip when she wears jeans and a t-shirt...which is most of the time. Namie is another example too.

Ayu doesn't even have to wear a t-shirt. Just a pair a jeans and a cute blouse would do for her . She's constantly looking the same in her shoots and stuff now. =/ I mean, they are pretty but I wouldn't mind if she'd try a lil hard to connect to her fans or wuteva when it comes to her fashion. =/ It's been going down the hill for a while IMO.

tbh, you come across as the kind of person who doesn't understand that Ayu's stage of totally relating to her fans has passed (i.e debut -> 2003 or so..). She still relates to us, but damn, she's a diva now and she has the right to dress like one.

Ayu has already gone through her phase of jeans + t-shirts, and now she's in her stage of glammy dresses and big hair and stuff. Soon, she'll switch it up again.. just not as quickly as she usually does.

Actually the shots for the last bea's UP magazine were amazing. She looked great and the dressing was also. Much better than other shots of herself or others this year.
Divaish classy, I love it.

And imo there is no better way to connect with fans other than tours.

Magazine shots and fashion are definitely not such a way, it's more to draw new fans, casual fans/listeners and make trends and also promotion (and that goes for every artist who gets mag shots obviously).
