In those pics, she seems very natural. Not to say any of the other contestants don't look nice too. She doesn't seem to be the attention-drawing type in those pictures.

Mika has that traditional Japanese beauty. She really makes a kimono look so good on her. I think Kumi did rank so high because she has her own line and she wears kimonos more frequently. Most of Kumi's kimonos are nice but her kouhaku performance... well the kimono style wasn't very classy But I can see why she did so well.

Ayu looks good in them but she really doesn't wear kimonos so much. She seems to prefer western outfits anyway

I think this poll was more aboutn the whole appereance than about Kuus ..."face"..., so she was better, because she has better kimonos

ok, 3rd is not bad, but y is it that kuu is above Ayu at the 2nd place!! NOOOOooooooooo!!

Btw Mika looks fierce when she doesn't smile. hahaz. No doubt she looks good in kimono too.

Lmao. "Not feeling the headpiece". Her line of kimonos are kind of unique I think..they might be a little different from someone's perceived images of a kimono. That's why she might look awkward in a few. Anyone got some of Fukuyama Masaharu? He's the only dude on that whole list lmao...I'm interested in seeing how he looks in one. All the females probably voted for him...you gotta hand it to him; the guy's still got it XD.
