Ho ho, Jolin will be coming to the NATAS travel fair next friday, to promote the 'Welcome To Taiwan' tourism.

I'm thinking of going, IF my cough gets better first. I had been coughing for almost 2 weeks!!!!

SINGAPORE: Travel bargains aren’t the only reason to brave the crowds at this year’s Natas Holidays 2009 travel fair. Taiwanese pop star Jolin Tsai and her fellow Taiwan tourism ambassador, director Wu Nian Zhen, will make guest appearances at 3pm next Friday, the first day of the event.


Taking the stage on all three days of the fair will be the Natas Singapore Women’s Everest Team. The participants will share their experiences of climbing the highest peak in the world at 4pm daily, as well as at their booth.

Their presence reinforces the theme of the event, which is "Follow your heart!".

With almost 1,000 booths and 165 exhibitors, 17 of which are new, fair visitors will likely find a suitable getaway for their budget.

Mastercard cardmembers get discounts on admission as well as a chance to win back the cost of their holiday.

That’s not the end of it. Singapore Airlines will give away tickets to Europe, Australia and Japan and Etihad Airways, passes to the Ferrari Paddock Club at the Singapore Grand Prix.

Natas chief executive officer Robert Khoo said the H1N1 pandemic has made Singaporeans wary of travelling, but now that more is known about the virus, travel is back on the cards.

"I would expect a pent—up demand to travel at our coming fair as our exhibitors have much more to offer this time around. Singaporeans should take advantage of the special bargains," he added.

Natas Holidays 2009 is held from Aug 28 to 30, at Singapore Expo Halls 4 and 5, from 10am to 9.30pm daily.

SHE'S SO FREAKING GORGEOUS. From the name, for some reason, I thought she was a man so it caught me off guard ^^; I don't know jack about Taiwanese names or music so ( ).

...it says she's referred to as "the Ayumi Hamasaki of Taiwan", hmm...

Her music really sounds nothing like Ayu's. I guess you could compare it more to Namie's? Except not completely. She basically has albums that are half really boring ballads, and half really catchy upbeat songs.

i think they said shes the ayu of taiwan because of her popularity

@Luna62: I know they're not ALL boring... XD But I can't stand to listen to most of them.

@JackieRos: Namie's not really the best example, but I couldn't think of anyone she sounded like at the moment... Well, she definitely sounds more like Namie than Ayu.
