Why people want Ayu to retire?? Why people always keep talking about Ayu retiring???

She said SO MANY times. She loves her work more than anything else, it's all her life. She can't live without it. Why do you still keep thinking she's going to retire at avery release she does???

It's kind of annoying... =_=;

......I think she's made it pretty clear that she's not retiring anytime soon......we all thought she would be gone with the song Curtain Call but she's still here.

I said she wanted to take a break / vacation next year, maybe a week, maybe 3 months, maybe 8 months but she'll never retire.

I have a little question... I don't know ayu's carreer too well, so I was wondering did she ever mentioned any sort of retirement at any point of her career till now? I mean did she ever said something like "after this or after that I might end my music career/retire from the music industry" ?

When A Best was released, back in 2001...
But in Japan, the 1st Compilation album after the peak is usually the final big act of a popular artist... They milk everything they can with it and after that the artist lose most of their fame... And it's even worst if u r a female idol... So, it was natural that she though it at that time...

I don't understand why half of you feel the need to attack each other... can't people ever just talk about something ayu related here without someone flipping out? Just saying...

Jump off Ren's back. He clearly misunderstood the post, that doesn't mean he can't read.

I'm pretty sure if ayu were to retire, she wouldn't subtly hint about it in song lyrics, she'd come right out and tell us. Do you really think she would be so secretive about it? When has she ever not been honest and upfront?

seriously guys, stop that. If she will gonna retire, she will say that clearly not through songs, hidden meanings and stuff like that.
She loves too much her work, so she will release music as long as she can.

reminds me of when people thought she was retiring because she had her 30 museum concert which commemorated her having 30 singles, and then releasing a single called "moments" which was thought to be called "memories" and she was going over all the good times in her life. "ZOMG SHE MUST BE RETIRING BECAUSE OF THIS!"

Omg, why isn't this closed yet? People are just getting upset, and there's no foundation for discussion, as Ayu's already confirmed herself on her twitter, that she's not going to recline with a strawberry smoothie with just a hint of rum in it, on a sandy beach on Hawaii and say "Well that was it". At least not anytime soon. Can we stop making these threads until she actually gives us any reason to think she will retire? Please.
