I also love what they did with "Honey". it seemed more like an acoustic version or something.. it's really nice!

could it be they lip-synced those songs?

EDIT: Hmm I'm listening to Genie, and I'm more convinced it's a lip-sync not a studio-recording put on as a pass-off to a live cos imo.. the verses are studio-version sound, but some parts of the choruses, like Yonna & Sooyoung's "solos" sound more prominent here than on the CD-recordings I've heard.

I could be wrong, but whatever.. that remix of Genie is hot lol

^ I thought of that too, but no one mentioned that until they did the concert in Taiwan . I don't mind if they did lip-sync at the beginning to save their voices for the other songs

well, if you see SM artist concerts, first songs are ALWAYS lip-synched so im not surprised
whatever, i know the girls can sing, and if to give a better show they need to lip-synch, i'm not gonna make a big deal about it ._.

I know!! xD I wasn't trying to make a big deal.. just trying to give my opinion on why some songs sound like studio-recordings. The ballads in the live album are amazing, like flawless so that is more than enough proof of the girls' singing abilities

I just finished CD1 and I'm so very satisfied with it .. The older songs and the solos were amazing =)
And One Year Later of couurse XD !! Onew's voice was extra awesome in it <3

you know it could also be that they just put the studio version cuz the chants were so loud? im not saying that it really is so, but i know that thats what happend to dbsk's concert

I preordered the live album from a seller on eBay a couple of days ago and it shipped today! I hope it arrives soon, I can't wait to hear it since it seems like everyone is enjoying it already! Still waiting on my Hoot Deluxe edition to arrive from YA, I want to see the performances soooo bad!

so out of all the solo songs which ones are your favorites? I love Sixteen going on Seventeen, Sunny, Umbrella, Hush Hush, Santa Baby (lol at the way she says convertable, so cute). I even like Barbie Girl! (Jessica's voice is kind of annoying but it fits this song perfectly) lol Yuri's accent was a bit too thick for 1, 2, step and I didn't like Yoona's song choice.

I've only heard Sunny, Umbrella and Hush Hush (Who performs this one??)... but they are awesome!! ^_^ Their English is so nice~!
