I always saw LOVEppears as Ayu laying everything out on the table for us in a no-nonsense fashion. In a sense, she's "bare" and unprotected on the cover to show us what to expect.
With MY STORY, the title tells us that it's Ayu's story. She's inviting the audience into all aspects of her life, which is obvious when you see she's in a bedroom. I figured the viewer would imagine they're hanging out in her room like a stereotypical sleepover...Ayu's reminiscing all about her life to you

Good job, Aderianu. Now that there's a somewhat larger version of the covers, I think I can see the 'sad Party Queen' ayu meant; her eyes aren't...smiling if you know what I mean. A really subtle kind of sadness.

With the concept like that it's the first time they fit with a photoshoot for Ayu.

Im pretty satisfied with the cover, all of it. And after I found out the meaning behind it...I even love it more! Really unsuspecting concept when I saw it at the first time, thought it just a plain girl going to wild party concept thingy, dont know about that sad feeling.

Coloured contacts make your eyes lifeless and empty - doll like most of the time.
I didn't see any so far which hadn't that effect, especially japanese ones with exotic colours.

Poor guy, there were not only bad comments about Ayu on ahs, but also some very mean about Timmy. It's one thing to say you don't like the work of someone, but to be so rude and mean is a no go, even in the internet. You never know if the person you're talking about will come across this. I hope he doesn't take it to heart, 'cos I'm sure I would and it would really upset me.

When I first saw the covers, I was like,

"Ayu, what has become of you....."

I felt devastated; they are sort of trashy, and so unlike anything she's ever done before. Not that I'm not a fan of change, but these images are just so self-destructive...
Even reading Ayu's tweets, it didn't really change my opinion on them. I felt as if the concept just wasn't there...
Two days later, looking back upon them...I realized. This is EXACTLY what she wants me to think and feel!!!
Now I actually quite enjoy them.
The concept is brilliant.

Once you understand it, it all comes together.
