Hey that's good to hear!! I'm glad so many ppl are enjoying her new album...

I don't think there's a single bad song on this album. I just think that some are mediocre, that's all. <shrugs>

I haven't listened to the full album yet, but "Before Sunset" is a really nice song. It's kind of dreamy...

i think the best songs of her album are:
morning glory, farewell and complacence.
I like all the songs but in my opinion these are the best. =D

I gotta say "morning glory" is really growing on me...I mean I liked it a lot from the preview already, & then when I heard the full version I was just a tad bit disappointed, but it was still great & I considered it one of my top tracks of the album. But now after giving it a few more listens I'm REALLY REALLY liking it...

I've given the album a brief listen, and I agree with Kakki, no bad songs, although a few mediocre ones. I think the album is better than any of the last 3 albums DAI released, and I'm glad Tomiko moved into a more mature direction and something different.

Her voice sounds a lot better than she did in the later DAI albums too, though there was one or two songs with a line that sounded alot like a DAI song.

Is "complacence"'s chorus supposed to sound a lot like DAI's "Week!"?

^ Lol I don't know, but it is possible that Dai might've written it himself...guess we'll see later when we see the credits.

I just listened to "Farewell"....I really like the music arrangement to it. I like this solo style better than DAI, personally.

I can already tell you she won't debut at #1. EXILE will be #1 for sure. Even b4 the announcement of SHUN leaving the band it was guaranteed.

But I do wish this album a high ranking & hope it'll sell well!!

I'm already in love with four of her songs, Farewell, Morning Glory, Complacence, and Before Sunset but I just have to see that her english in A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes has gotten better since Break Of Dawn.

Does anyone know if an overseas ver. has been confirmed? I was planning to order Van's new CD today but if an OS ver. is coming out soon I'll just wait 'til then.

Hmmm I've listened to a bit of the album but so far a lot of the tracks lull me to sleep (which isn't a good thing). They all sound really pretty but I get bored FAST. The only piece I've thoroughly enjoyed so far is "complacence". I was trying to get into "farewell" because of all the rave reviews... but besides the beautiful instruments this piece BORES ME! None of them are bad at their not great either, just bland.

Most likely (actually very likely) there will be an overseas version. I've been wrong before though.

edit: I just heard the album. I absolutely love it I couldn't ask for a better album. It is so relaxing I can see myself listening to this when I'm bathing.lol. Overall my favourite songs are morning glory, horoscope, complacence, HOLY PLANET, Before sunset, Hold me..., and just for the heck of it A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes. Thats 7/11 songs. The other 4 are songs are also enjoyable. Overall out of 10... I give this album a 9!
