@immel

Hmm.. I would still say that Finnair is the cheapest
Straight flight from Helsinki - Tokyo and back is 690€
which I find the most cheapest am I right?

@evolution7931

I'm going to the AT07 or atleast trying to and I'm doing whatever I can to raise money. If I don't get tickets or the dates won't match I'm still going to Tokyo, I just gotta wish I can make it to the concert/s.

this is my main concern,as the rest will probably fall cheap enough.
i do think that people in england have it cheaper, one of my friends who lives there told me about it.
and i do believe that the closer you live to tokyo, the cheaper it is.since it takes less time and thus less gas for the plane to get there.

oh yeah,i forgot to say....those are the cheapest fares.if you take something like first class, you'll have to pay around 5000 CDN!!!

btw,where are you from evolution?
I'm from Nova Scotia... ._.
Okay, I just gave myself a complete financial evaluation. If I went and spent a week in Japan, I would be able to afford it, with a $1900 surplus, for spending money or just whatever I want. But the catch is, I'd have to go alone...

I don't know if I'd want to go alone. So I calculated if I'd be able to take a friend with me. If I take a friend with me, it would be possible, but I would have a debt of about $710.

Wow... this is more possible than I imagined. I'm surprised, and glad! I'm sure my friend would want to come with me, and would be more than happy to pay the debt, considering I'd be covering the expenses for her to come with me... yay.

(don't ask me why I just posted all this financial crap on here, I'm just excited XD)

I guess it is, there's no direct flights from Sthlm - Tokyo, I got to fly to London first .

Wouldn't it be cheaper if you'd fly first to Helsinki and from there to Tokyo.
It's more shorter to go to Hel rather than to London ?

well when I do searches for flights on air canada's website they're always like that.. they always put me into vancouver and then tokyo, or into somewhere in the USA and then into Tokyo... and it's still like $2000. but I've seen some that went for only $1700.. I guess it's a help. Just look through Air Canada's website and Yahoo Canada Travel. They also check through several airlines so its kind of easy to get a cheaper flight, but not cheaper than those dates on Air Canada's website that are specifically for cheaper tickets. Just browse through everything!

Hey your from quebec right? The best way for you to travel to japan is going to toronto/vancouver then straight to tokyo..already from toronto to tokyo is like 12 hours and it will be a tiring flight...too many transfers will make it difficult and longer for your flight..The best way to get cheap tickets for japan is booking in advance with a japanese travel agency like H.I.S..i got my tickets for toronto to tokyo only for $1,400 CDN since i got it 4 months in advance and i went in august which makes a bit more expensive..Try not to go going the summer or around christmas time..or golden week..and try to visit japan in off-peak season time! I'm sure ayu would have a concert around that time! I hope this will help you! I'm planning to see ayu arena 08 tour lol! 10th year anniversary!!! Whether it will be in nagoya or tokyo!!..However i have to find someone to go with..i really want to go with an ayumi fan but i don't really know any!!!

I suggest a-nation to only fans who are fans of other avex artists like me..like boa, kuu, ai-chan, TRF, interesting guest artists, etc..but if you only like ayumi then forget it..but its worth the ticket since the concert is soo long compared to ayu's arena tour!!

you serious? thanks a lot for your information kawaii.
i need to know where to look for concert dates, whether it bed ayu,a-nation or anything to do with other avex artists.
i started saving this month, with 250$ in the account right now.i thought it would be around august so i think i have at least 10 months.

but 1400 is much cheaper than i thought really.
as for the 2008 tour(that is what you meant right?) i might go too lol.
i'm thinking of doing a-nation 2007 and another concert maybe.might change my mind on a-nation though, but i dunno for sure yet.
so any ideas of sites which i should check for gathering information?

Hi!
I am planning to go to japan next year, this thread has really inspired me to go see ayu. Does anyone know where i can find cheap plane tickets from the us to japan? and is it better to buy the arena tour 07 tickets in a ticket reseller shop? immel-thanks for your link to this thread on ayunite.net, i already applyed for the hostel hotels membership card, but i went to the website for the Yoyogi Youth Hostel and it somehow said that there isnt any rooms avaliable for next year during the spring/summer, i was trying to make advanced reservations, oh and i have an important question are 15 yr olds allowed to go to a concert in japan by themselves, my aunt and sisters wouldnt like to go to ayumi's concert so im going by myself.

I think it shouldn't be a problem to go by yourself.

Can someone make a new post or topic for CDL ? So many people are interested by AT07 but the event coming before that is CDL right ? Still no date for the sales of tickets ?

SurrealAyumi, I believe the hostel only makes reservations online for a couple months in advance, so I'm sure it's not actually booked up. I stayed there as well and really liked it It wasn't as nice as some other hostels, but I liked that the rooms were private and it had a really good location

Yes CDL does come before AT07. I assume the concert dates are December 30-31 unless they change things around; usually tickets will go on sale in November (somewhere middle to end of that month).

The concert lasted for a little over two hours, it's about as long as the AT2k5 DVD, the performances I was to was a bit shorter than the final performance as it had BLUE BIRD as an extra number.

It started at 18:30 one day, well, Are You Wake Up? started playing around that time, a bit later I think... so, say it started around 19:00, then the concert lasted for for two hours, so I got out of there around 21:20 then I ate some yakisoba just outside the arena and went back to the hotel, which is about a 10 minute walk... so I got back at around 22:20 I think. I went out later again.

The second day the concert started earlier, 17.00 so well, got out of the arena an hour and a half earlier... although I think the MC was maybe a bit longer. After the show I went to an Internet café in order to write to some people and post here about the cams I made, hehe. I think I got back to the hostel at around midnight.

This is the page you need to go to: http://www.hihostels.com/web/membership.en.htm.

The link in the first post has turned obsolete since hihostels.com updated their page, I noticed it now and updated it. All the information you need is on that page.

Actually, I checked up the direct link for where you can become a member in Canada, here is is:
http://www.hihostels.ca/en/membership.aspx?sortcode=2.2

The good thing is that this is an international organisation, you can become a member in any country and it will work all over the world .
