I agree with BanFan - even though I like BLUE BIRD, Ayu really needs a break. And like I've said before, no magazine shoots, no PVs, no touring, no anything - to find inspiration. I could care less if she looses fans and sells less, if that means stronger music and videos. Being a long time browser of this board, I would be thrilled if Ayu could pull off something the entire forum would love.

I just thought of a great PV that came out around summer that I love and that DOESN'T involve beaches and stuff.

lol, you're making me laugh, while fairyland was disasterous theme PV! It doesn't suit! :p

It's true, Naoto's hair didn't look that way before CDL05-06. This PV must have been filmed this year. Also, there's NO MITSU! 0_______o I already noticed he's not included in the arena tour 2006 pamphlet pics... he's gone from Ayumi's dancing team... ._______. i'm gonna cryyyyyy....

Comparing Hawaii to other places:
It's useless, me thinks. They all look the same. Check out Guam in Wikipedia. There's a photo of a gulf that looks pretty similar to where Ayumi stands at the beginning. But I bet every second island on Pacific has a gulf like that... Including mainland Japan...

That's weird...I read the lyrics when I first saw the PV, but I just went to see now and they seem completely different. Maybe i just wasn't paying attention then. Thanks though.

Yes! That PV pulled off the summer theme w/o beaches.
Have you seen Kaban? That pulled it off as well. I love aiko.

It was supposed to be like.. a reminder that summer never lasts forever or something.

Like, even though summer is full of memories and love, someday the memories will soon disappear.. :/ [like when all the 'film' got burnt up during the fairyland PV ~]

they might have changed. It does happen -- after single is released, we get the right lyrics in original, so speculated lyrics might change.

Probably not, but I have such a hard time believing she's been with this guy for over 5 years and never says a damn thing about him or lets herself be seen with him in public. The only reason we can believe that they might still be together is because she writes "thanks to my honey" in her CD booklets....and that could refer to any dude. I understand it's probably best to leave one's personal life out of one's career, but if I were Ayu's BF I'd be depressed that she talks about and takes more pics of her dogs than she does of me. XD

Just stick Ayu in that PV, and imagine what kind of comments'd come from that. OMG.

Ayu does not fit the style that aiko has imho~ and if Ayu did a PV like that, people'd be all like.. 'I'd rather have Startin!' or something. O_O

I like the BLUE BIRD pv! It reminds me of SURREAL with Ayu in the white dress, the beach....I don't mean it's like surreal, it's just some parts that make me think of surreal pv.
The colors of BLUE BIRD are also great!

Yeah that is something pretty odd for me to understand. She might even have broken up with him ages ago and gotten tons of other guys. But then in Japan artists tend to keep their relationships secret. Various artists say they have a boyfriend and we never get to know anything about it.

Yeah I remember I've heard of an incident where an artist got married and then told her fans later on. Also many fans get disappointed when they find their favourite artist has a relationship.

.. hmm I think it was low budget and bland really. I enjoyed the fact that she was having fun, but the same director for Beautiful Fighters too? He can't control the camera properly. ;.;
