Yeah, the girl deserves a break, I'd say. I mean... Voyage and then & was a long wait for everyone (except me because I didn't even start lsitening to Ayu until a few months after & was released), so this is absolutely nothing by comparison, from what I can tell. If she is resting, cool. But that being said, I do still hope we get some new material either later this year or early next year. It'd be nice if she jsut went the MY STORY route, though, and these were all the singles, and then bam! Everything else? Album tracks.

Breakup? The most popular gossips right now in Japan (involving Ayu) are that she's drinking too much alcohol and her staff was reduced. And I guess AVEX wouldn't move a DVD release date because of a break-up? Or even a single.

I'm perfectly happy waiting. The longer it takes, the less songs we'll probably hear before the album is released. Last year sucked having had 4 singles/8 songs prior to the release.

That makes me want her to write, compose, produce and sing an entire song while absolutely sloshed.

I figure the result would be something akin to WONDERLAND crossed with Greatful days crossed with Free & Easy crossed with I am... crossed with alterna... crossed with teddy bear.

Failing that, it'd be something akin to Beautiful Fighters. I love this song to death, but man. She must've been whacked out when she wrote it.

I think one of the big things about this break is that a) It's worrying fans because they first push for her to slow down and relax and take her time with singles, and when she does that, we flip out at the loooooooong priods of silence, b)She could just be relaxing from all those tours over the years... I don't know how that girl keeps all her energy for all those concerts, I'd be dead by the third one, probably... and c) The threads seem pretty dead without any news for over a month... xD

I do hope that she keeps at what she does. I wasn't disappointed by the last releases, except for Born to be... (it took me a LONG time to like this song), so I hope 1love and JEWEL are decent.

Well even if she doesn't release a single, maybe we can hope for an early album. Something placed before Christmas, so people can give it as a Christmas Present, or get it as a Christmas Present. What she did with (miss) understood was stupid, in my opinion. XD

I think that 1.1 releases were possible back in I am.. / LOVEppears / ASFXX days because sales were higher as well as Ayu's rule over the industry. Back then there was no Ai Otsuka or BoA[well yeah maybe] to compete with ;D
