The 30 sec previews are already out and 4 of the tracks can be heard in full. Timbaland only produced some of the songs with Earth Intruders being one of them. I can't imagine Nelly Furtado doing EI for MTV to play.

Double Post but news:

The albums leaked. And quite good quality too. Slightly Jumpy.

The previews made some songs seem better than they were, but did other tracks no justice.
It's like a messy mish mash of all her previous work and most of the time it works.

'Dull Flame Of Desire is love. The way all the tracks join up is so odd. 2 minutes of ship noises after Earth Intruders?

Earth Intruders and Declare Independence are the standouts, IMO.

I don't think her spoken voice has enough power to pull of Declare Independence. She sounds cute rather than angsty.

Pneumonia has grown on me during the day. I may be a little bit in love with it.

I was the same. Still got the CD+DVD version on pre-order.

The leak isn't too brilliant. The tracks jump in places. I want my CD perfect Wanderlust

The album is amazing. My favourite is Dull Flame of Passion (loved the name of this song) and Wanderlust is awesome as well!

So did anyone actually buy Volta today besides me? I didn't think that the US Version would come in a digipak, but right now I think the CD only version is the only one available here. Those lucky ones in the UK and Japan have at least ONE bonus track.

Either way, the packaging is very cool, if not a bit cumbersome. At first I didn't realize that you had to pull off the little sticker of ornament Bjork in order to open it, but once I did, I stuck it permenantly to one flap's side so as not to ruin it and make it not sticky by repeatedly putting it on and taking it off the center. I'm sure I sound like a lunatic talking about this, but you know what I mean if you actually bought it.

^ You're not the only one. I got mine yesterday. Love, love, love it. Hate, hate, hate the packaging. Love the artwork though. Favorite songs so far are: Earth Intruders, The Dull Flame of Desire (oh god, I love this song), Innocence, Declare Independence, and My Juvenile.

I dont like it enough to get it. i think i'll save my money. The last bjork cd that was worth my time was Vaspertine and that was kind of a while back?

Yeah it is. By the pictures, I thought it was printed on the cover or something. I can imagine how many people will rip it and get completely pissed. Dumb idea.

I still haven't listened to more than three songs though. I just don't feel like it. I really have to be in the mood for Bjork, and that mood comes around every few months or so, so there will be awhile before I can delve into this release :\
