I'm one of those people that really disliked it but then came to love it. From these forums tho, I'd say fated is the least popular from that single. And that is one of my favorites out of every Ayu song. Perhaps the favorite. Still, they make a good pair.

Personally, I was really pissed about the entire single to begin with. I thought glitter sounded like fairyland and BLUE BIRD, and was too generic to be memorable. fated never really impressed me either. Now, I can say that I like glitter, but I certainly don't love it. fated actually got worse in my opinion. I like it less than the first few times I listened to it. Overall, I do like glitter, but I don't necessarily appreciate it.

But to all those people saying everyone who doesn't like it was being fussy, I say shove it. People are allowed to be critical if that's how they feel, especially when Ayu has done much more creative songs. The comment calling "glitter haters" "crazies" is perhaps the most moronic I've heard in a long while. I'm most certainly not saying that I don't appreciate glitter because it isn't like her older songs. talkin' 2 myself was one of her best singles in awhile, and she's consistently been able to have fantastic tracks on every album, despite a few slip ups here and there. And I don't see how so many people seem to think that everyone hates glitter when you look at this topic and practically the entire board is saying they love it.

Ugh, and the people who post in these sorts of threads about "does anyone like __________?" are usually the ones that like it, not the ones that could care less about it. They usually look at the thread and are like "oh, I hate this, it doesn't deserve my commenting-on-it." Let people have their positive opinions, and you can keep the negative ones to yourself, especially in a thread like this, dedicated to finding those who do like it. :\

I think that to not like a song with as much energy as glitter or Born To Be is indeed crazy. Especially when there's this double standard with older Ayu songs and newer ones, like she's really gone down in quality or some shizz when she really hasn't. YOU REALLY GRIND MY GEARS. I believe, last time I checked, this is a forum where people are allowed to post how they feel, within boundaries of course. I did not say I dislike glitter, although I don't necessarily appreciate it. Though I hardly see how an entire thread full of people agreeing about the same thing with little variation between posts is diverse in any way, or at all thought-provoking for that matter. My opinion is hardly negative, and telling me I should keep it to myself would just be preventing a differing opinion from being heard. Quite obviously I found your comment to be ignorant and the fact that you believe someone is crazy for not liking a song simply for its energy is a flawed argument.

Not caring for super happy upbeat songs isn't that crazy
As you probably remember, I happen to hate 'Born to be...' but I still like Ayu's upbeat material. Some energetic songs are just too bubble-gum for certain people's tastes. LOL like you once said 'different strokes for different folks' .

i remember when glitter/fated leaked, most of the people favoured glitter more than fated. there were so much hype bout how good glitter sounds. but after sumtimes (perhaps when talkin 2 myself was released) people start sayin that glitters crappy.
personally i love glitter very much. it is so much stronger than fairyland n bluebird. and to me, if any newer songs were to replace boys & girls in her concerts, glitter would be the best candidate =)

i always liked the song regardless of others opinions. i think a lot of people love glitter, but a lot more dont love it =T
