I don't think it's offensive...and I think the point of the joke is that alan is NOT ugly, hence the amusing contrast between Ugly Betty and alan. Well, America Ferrera isn't ugly either; they just dress her up funny.

wee i saw heart war on MTV yesterday, alan is so pretty and kinda depressed looking, now with red cliff out, i hope ashita e no sanka will sell more in taiwan
yesterday on mtv, there was this guy ranking popular singles and alan is number 9, looked like she was number 5 the last week~ i still blame all the boy bands

only ashita e no sanka and heart war have been shown on MTV Tawian~ but i would think that after alan is more successful in taiwan, she'll come on and do a "thank for supporting me, my fans" i really wish that she would @_@!!!

also, i saw like the last frame of alan on NHK yesterday, she was performing, something longing future,* hehe can't spell alan songs*
