That's not really what it says~here is a part mentioning the lyrics:
Lyrics, singing, arranging, and adding a new element to all the songs, the sublimation of the past 10 years. Continue to evolve to the next stage..

my trsnlation of the green thing up there is this:

Quote:
The 10th Original Full Album is a creation of the 10th Anniversary Year's closing and enthusiasm! Being the 11th work, lyrics, singing, arranging and other all-new elements have been added to the music, which is a sublimation of the past 10 years and shows ayu's new appearance which has come to the next level.

I have to make it clear that Ourselves, Step YOU, and all those songs that were brought up here cannot compare to these lyrics.
Even then, those songs had very clear, and very mature and great meanings.

It's hard to correctly express what the feeling is of these lyrics.
For example, She uses very vulgar words for male and female,
And it feels like.. very disconnected from everything she has ever done before.
It's surprising, and a little disappointing for me, and a lot of my friends too..

I think it's hard to correctly express why these lyrics are awkward,
Because even if you translate the lyrics, these words sound so normal in English I think.
But the words and lyrics that this "sample" uses..
Its too unlike her.

But of course, I know quite well that some people here like these sexual and vulgar things, so of course I know what I say will be ridiculed about it..
I don't mind.

I just feel like the artist that Hamasaki built up until now, is completely different from these Sparkle lyrics.
And since she said there's no lies in her lyrics, then this must be the new her.
And.. yeah, for me, it's too much.
The integrity of her artistic expressions seem to be breaking down for me,
If she turns to these kinds of cheap songs.

The reason why I dont listen to those Koda Kumi and her clones..
Is because I hate that kind of things.
And now, if she becomes writing this lyrics..

Well, I guess I will just have to listen to her old things.

I don't think it's as big of a deal as you put it, it's one song! And we're not even 100% sure about the lyrics yet. So I'd be patient and see how it turns out. Not to mention, she may not continue down this route. This may be her one and only erotic song.

To let one song (that could turn out completely different) ruin an entire artist for you seems a bit prude to me. Like others said, you should just wait and see~

Can someone please translate the new lyrics though? I'm really very curious~

i wouldn't mind naughty lyrics. i just hope she won't perform in a thong and a bra.

i love ayu mostly because of her meaningful lyrics but maybe she just wants to have fun after 10 years.

and don't most women become more "sexual" when they hit 30?.. i think i saw that on oprah haha XD

そんな時はただbeatに身を任せればいい

いつまでそこでそうやって指を咥えてるつもり?
No no no...

守りに入らないで攻撃的に見せてみて
可能だとか不可能だとか
どこの誰のものさし

後になって悔むなんて
在り来たりな話々

聞こえてるこのbeatに従えば間違いない

中途半端じゃ伝わらない

~The latest lyrics of 'Sparkle' I could find. The first version I posted was missing the first line or something.

I see where you're coming from. If Ayu turned completely 'ero' I'd be pretty turned off as well, but I don't think that's the route she's going. It's also different for most of us because we don't understand Japanese or pay attention to the lyrics while we're listening to the song.

I think a lot of people would agree that her lyrics seem to have been getting repetitive. Maybe in 'NEXT LEVEL' she'll tackle more subjects in her lyrics that she hasn't before. I don't think we should jump to the conclusion that she's completely changing her musical direction. But you never know, don't women reach their sexual peak at age 30?

Well, Ayu has to be true to her lyrics
If she's at her sexual peak, I wouldn't want her to restrain it

Thanks for the new lyrics

Um, how are the lyrics 'ero'? They're sensual at most. But then again I can only judge from a Babelfish translation.

I wouldn't mind easy going lyrics for a change though. They're easy to listen to. My favorite types of lyrics are those I'm-gonna-own-you-all lyrics like Mirrorcle World, my name's WOMEN and this.

Im kinda upset into this ero-lyrics thingy.

If she done this for once, I'll understand.
But if she pursue this new "image" of the song like Britney did, well... its the end of the road of my fandom. :*(

Im not supporting an artist who sacrifice their integrity for the sake of making music by writing meaningless lyrics.

We all know we support Ayu for her deep and meaningful and honest lyrics in her music.
Its kinda drastic for me to make such sudden change to her music.

Well, since we didn't know what the Sparkle REALLY contains, we should not hesitant to be upset...

I really don't see the problem with fun lyric... Can someone please explain? I mean, honestly? Other than a 'change in Ayu's image', what is REALLY bad about fun non-philosophical lyrics?

These lyrics Coelacanth posted are true, it fits with the song and with what she's singing, obviously. The previous ones were fake. I'm quite surprised the lyrics are sensual and the song is electronica-influenced. Hope she goes doing music this way because I'm slowly getting tired of all these sound-a-like rock songs although I loved Rule.

Maybe Im serious... but if I hear the full version of Sparkle and the translation to it, maybe I can change my mind.
So don't worry...

I was really down when I see the so-called actual "ero-lyrics".

Spoiler:
*for the hostage-taker of Sparkle* PLEASE release the Sparkle song if you're holding to it! D:
