Canceling is the dumbest move ever.
If you analyze this, it isn't THAT bad. The amount of new songs we are getting is good - what sucks is that I was expecting more and would like more.

BUT:

Guilty = 5 new songs + Together When... + Mirror
Secret = 7 new songs + Not yet

NEXT LEVEL = 6 new songs + Rule + Sparkle + Bridge To The Sky

The way I see it, Rule/Sparkle is still relatively new. 8 new songs. That beats both Guilty and Secret. If you don't count Rule/Sparkle as new songs, then that is 6 new songs. One less than Secret which had a few duds (the title track 'Secret' was junk). These songs could all turn out to be amazing and it would surpass the quality of the last two albums.

I also wonder if the tracklist was 16 instead of 14, including Mirrorcle and Life - if people would like it better. I know I would - but that doesn't make much sense does it? Lol.

Cancelling orders because of 1 or 2 extra interlude is just a dumb act upon angry impulse. For all we know, this album might be AMAZING. Why let it go because of an extra interlude? I don't get you guys, who cancelled. Geez.

I can't wait for this album! I'm über excited about posting a review of it on my blog.
Hello you, first time to see you in here XD xD Days was dissapointing, as you said it was amazing (;D), but well then, GREEN was amazing instead. No, this can't be bad!

Well 4 interludes don't bother me, 6 new songs is good for me and I loved GUILTY so this news don't change my thoughts on NEXT LEVEL and aside from that I loved the singles for this album, so no disappointment here ^_^

How'd you like 6 interludes & 4 new songs that would be something to be disappointed about.

4? -_-

It made me angry when i first read it, but on the bright side, 6 new songs, still. Though, really, this is one thing I can safely say I've disliked about ayu for quite a while. She's been really getting into putting filler in her albums. 4 interludes is fine for an album like MY STORY (which actually only had 3) that has 17 tracks. It's the only thing that could have made GUILTY better than it was, less interludes.

Btw, why are some of you cancelling your orders because of this? It's kind of a stupid over-reaction o.O

While you and I always (well, often) disagree because our "Ayu song taste" is so different from one anothers, we often agree on the quality of an album ^^ Singles are a different matter, really

(Haha, du har bare ikke kigget nok efter mig, jeg har skrevet lidt her og der herinde...)

Dokiyo yea me too! I don't think it really exists it looks to me like a bunny xD

and I think it's stupid to cancel the order just because of this amount of interludes... hey, it's AYU!
and like Kanzaki88 said, she never disappointed us, did she?

^ ~ ...sometimes people get the whole " artist-block " thing..X_X....i know its happened to me before, and making a song could take a while....you dont want to be toooo repetitive...and making/figuring out chords to fit the song could take a while......especially if youre looking to make quality songs.

At first, I was gonna post this lovely paragraph to our preorder-victims who've suddenly decided to cancel their orders of NEXT LEVEL...but I decided not to add fuel to the fire do to my lack of time and have resorted to disco-munication with them.

The preview-reviews sound pretty promising. Electro-rock? Hopefully it's as awesome as it sounds.

i thik it´s funny how ppl cancel the album because of Cover or amount of interludes before they even hear the full album XD
I mean one og my fave Ayu Songs is an interlude and the album has still 10 full Songs.

she made it work with GUILTY (imo don't shoot me haters ) so i don't see how it can't with NEXT LEVEL. it helps with the album flow etc. i'm betting she has vocals in most of the interludes though, since she mentions recording so much in her TA messages.

well I'll be lying if I say I'm not disappointed. 4 interludes is definitely a lot for a 14 track album. I was hoping ayu would stop putting 4 after GUILTY and I was looking forward to disco-munication as a full track. Sigh...hopfully bridge to the sky has some lyrics.

Okay....

1.) I am disappointed in 4 interludes, I was hoping for less but I'll live
2.) Is it REALLY confirmed? Since Curtain Call isn't available, there may be more songs that are just aren't available, because:
3.) 01.Bridge to the sky
02.NEXT LEVEL
03.Disco-munication
Does anyone find it a bit odd that the track order is intro ---> full song ---> interlude?
Has she every done something like that before?
I find it rather weird and I'm hoping Disco-munication will be turned into a full track too...

Also, I think people who have already canceled their orders for the albums either didn't really want it that much in the first place or just don't have that much faith in Ayu's ability to produce a great album despite interludes. But your money, your choice. I have no problems with it =P

I wrote a small write up analyzing exactly how "bad" can it be. I was very dissapointed, but I have thought about it and I just hope the songs are good.
My nice write up was the last post on the last page which I HATE when that happens because nobody ever sees it then Lol.

I think canceling because there are interludes is just stupid =/... Come on, it's still six new songs, which is would take 3 double A singles to get, which means, it's still a good number of new songs. Plus, 4 A-sides already. If you don't like the interludes, just think of it as a 10 song album =/...

8. Marionette -prelude-
9. Marionette
10. The Judgement Day

Aren't six new songs around average? I wouldn't cancel my order because it's "only" 6 new songs. I'm even looking forward to the interludes, because they have become better and more cleverly used over time. The Marionette-The Judgement Day-glitter transition on "GUILTY" is great. Much better than the Daybreak-taskinlude-M transition on "I am...". "taskinlude" has a rather dark feel and would have been a better transition into the original version of "Endless sorrow".
Some interludes are even as good/more innovative/better than some full songs. Hopefully there won't be a typical HAL interlude, though. It's that neverending dream=Kaleidoscope=LABYRINTH=reBiRTH, basically speaking.

I'm sure it's for the flow, not to cheat people. Even if she would take 5 years to record an album, it might very well still end up with a higher amount of interludes. So maybe time isn't an issue in this case. She already has so many songs. If this is the image she has in mind, it's all good.
