Omfg. The Music Fair performance is amazing!
Sunset was epic, she controlled her voice fantastically, one of her best vocal performances since PCDL!
Sunrise was the best vocally~! She made it sound nicer this time. Boys & Girls is a nice song to follow on from Sunrise~ very high energy!
I think it's so cute how she's acting like there's an audience, but I think that the break is so that those watching at home sing the parts...cuz if you notice she's motioning into the camera!

Edit: Her Sunset dress is lovely.

It's just all for show anyway, gives the viewer at home a change to interact. Less boring that just watching someone sing for 5 minutes~.

B&G was really random and really not a good choise actually. If she does it on TV shows she really should sing the whole lyrics by herself. Oh well, hard to get rid of bad habits I guess. ;P

I guess sad was a bit too strong of a word. I expected this to be more blast from the past Ayu; something along the lines of her B&G performance at Kouhaku or something. She's been singing this song for a decade now, and she's been singing it her shouting way for a few years. I expected her to sing it normally and keep things simple. She already has fun singing B&G with an audience at least 30 times a year, it just would've been nice to see her sing normally and without her dancers for once.

Last time Ayu was on Music Fair: early 2007 for promotion of A BEST 2 (evolution, Dearest, HEAVEN). And on Music Fighter: mid-September 2007 for promotion of single "talkin' 2 myself". About two years (more/almost respectively) last time she appeared on these studios - great to be back on the scene.

At least that seemed weird on the Boys & Girls acapella action, but too bad there's no real audience - seems that the TV viewers were Ayu's "simulated audience"...

I love the performance. Yes, B&G was kinda weird. Wished she chose another song. My B&G anyway. lol. If only she chose a song from NEXT LEVEL. Sunset is pure looooove!

One thing that irked me though, the female dancers in Sunset. Dancers were totally not needed for Sunset! D: And their dance, reminds me of Shuya's ballad solos, and I like neither. Interesting thing is Maro was the choreographer for the dance, and as far as we know, Shuya's recent solos. MARO, YOU BETTER STOP CHOREOGRAPHING THESE DANCES DD:

Sunrise is offcialy the number one song on iTunes Japan!!!!! It beat out Noriko Sakai's song (one of the only few left on iTunes after her drug incident). Thats really huge since Sakai fans have been showing their immense support. the Pv retains the tops spot as well!
