^ Yeah, I thought the whole point of a remix was to change it up. Taking a slower song and making it faster is a perfect example of a remix.
I for one love that most of the ballads are being turned into trance songs. They make perfect fast songs if done right.!

I agree. Sparkle ''original mix'' IS already trance. I'd much rather see some other song like Days or MOON given the trance remix.

In my opinion it's more electro j-pop than... trance. Even for vocal trance, 'Sparkle' still contains too much elements of electro pop to be considered as trance.

Yeah, Sparkle is electropop, not trance.

After not being sure about it for a while, I think I'm gonna take the plunge and order the boxset. I can't wait for March 30th to arrive!

The trance elements in Sparkle could have been really emphasized had they remixed it. Naturally was mentioned and I love both versions but the remix is TOP OF THE LINE!

I really want Rule to have an "acoustic orchestra" version. I really like the soft parts of that song, it would really sound awesome as a ballad I think. (And this comes from someone who dislikes ballads a lot!) xD

^^Sorry, the examples I gave are of tracks that are NOT ballads in any way, even when turned into acoustic orchestra versions.

the vocals for Rule are still fast, have nothing to do with love, and I'm sure the instruments used would back that up... (at least the way I imagine it)

Agreed, some of my favorite remixes of hers are slower songs

Her ballad remixes are good, but I still love her upbeat remixes a bit more. STEP you x THE YOUNG PUNX, GAME x YOJI, Naturally (Wippenburg Remix), Real me (Megara vs DJ Lee Remix), etc. Of course, her best remixes imo were the drizzly german releases but I know she'll never go back to that.

I really want AO versions of her fast songs too. GAME (Classical) is absolutely amazing. And so is HONEY (Classical). Such an annoyingly cutesy song turned out to be quite nice. I really love it actually. And the fan mix of Rule that won the remix contest last year was so good too. I think her upbeat songs have much potential for AO.

Sadly the only versions of these that exist are the really short versions in ayu-mi-x 4 nonstop.

I'll never know why they didn't release the full remixes for that album. :/

Who knows. I said a while ago that that's one of the reasons why I don't like megamix. They usually have a few really good remixes that are never more than a few minutes. Some are like 1:30 long too and we'll never get a full version of them.
