That's really low for 4 editions of an album :x & the sales difference between A NUDE & Spitz's Chīsana Ikimono is really close

Maybe Spitz will prevent Yamapi from getting #1 (again) ? For now I hope I can get my copy tomorrow , alongside with SUMMER NUDE '13

I received my copy of A NUDE (CD + DVD LE) today alongside with SUMMER NUDE '13 (CD + DVD B LE)

Album concept wise , a BIG improvement from the disaster of Ero & thank goodness Leslie Kee is NOT the photographer in charge of A NUDE . Yamapi looks great in most of the photos inside the CD sleeves

I think that black & white shot is my fave . You can't go wrong with black & white photos

Album wise , wow it's so musically versatile , probably so much more than Ero was . The songs I've listened to so far are really top notch/solid

Now I understand why SUMMER NUDE '13 is excluded out because it will feel very out of place should it be included in A NUDE

Today, September 15, marks the 10th anniversary of NEWS. As part of the celebration, they held NEWS 10th Anniversary Event & Live in Tokyo Dome, which gathered 65,000 people. Today, a streaming video of NEWS' performance of Ai Kotoba ~Te o Hiite ~ at Tokyo Dome will be available to watch on Jehp website from 12am to 11.59pm. For all NEWS fans who can't attend their Tokyo Dome event, you can enjoy watching the uploaded video.

Ai Kotoba is their anniversary song, composed by Tegoshi and written by all NEWS members.

NEWS' message:

Hello, we're NEWS! So today...on the 15th of September we have reached the 10th anniversary for when we formed! Ahh~! Really, being able to get to this stage, it's thanks to our fans...no, it's all thanks to our girlfriends. Cheers! It's exactly 10 years ago when we started. We even had a debut event. But, being able to broadcast a video like this is a rare thing isn't it? Yeah, it hasn't been done before this. It's the first in Johnnys isn't it? Yes, yes.. (Seems like it!) Today, after this it'll play the Tokyo dome song that we wrote. Wow! I'm so happy. This is because we often hear about fans who wanted to attend Tokyo dome but are not able to come and we want them to listen to it too. We want everyone to be able to see this. Yep! And I think there are also people who went to Tokyo dome but would like to see it again too! It's for today only!! Yes it is! It's a special video!! We, as NEWS, wrote the melody and the lyrics so please listen to it!

[Oricon] Yamashita Tomohisa’s cover of “SUMMER NUDE” becomes his 6th single to top weekly charts

Released on July 31st, Yamashita Tomohisa‘s 8th single “SUMMER NUDE ’13” has sold 99,000 copies on its first week, topping August 12th weekly sales chart. This single is a cover of the original by Makoto Brothers. This is his 6th single in the top spot after his single “Ai, Texas” (February 2012), 3 singles later, he hits the same mark.

He released a cover single “MONSTERS” (November 2012), with SMAP Katori Shingo as The MONSTERS, topping December 10th weekly sales charts. His previous single “Que Sera Sera” (March 2013) exceeded 97,000 copies.

This single is also the theme song of FujiTV getsu9 drama “SUMMER NUDE” starred by Yamashita Tomohisa. The arrangement was made by OKAMOTO’S CHOKKAKU. A bold cover of the Makoto Brother’s 1995 hit.

[Oricon] NEWS becomes the 4th group in history to place 6 consecutive albums in the top charts

Released on July 17th, NEWS‘s original album “NEWS” has sold 100,000 copies on its first week, topping July 29th weekly sales chart. The first album they placed in this spot was “touch” (April 2005).

There’s 3 more artists who have achieved this; KinKi Kids (August 6th/2001), Utada Hikaru (March 31st/2008) and KAT-TUN (March 5th/2012).

This work includes singles like; “Chankapaana”, “WORLD QUEST” and “Pokoponpekorya”. In addition, “Nagisa no Onee Summer” (CM song for Wing Kirei) is also included.

NEWS' Yuya Tegoshi To Host FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013

NEWS member Yuya Tegoshi was appointed as the host for the NihonTV show "TOYOTA presents FIFA Club World Cup Morocco 2013" which will start airing on December 11th. During the competition, Tegoshi will be in Morocco where the event will take place.

The 26-year-old artist is a self-confessed soccer fan and it proves to be right as it is his second time to be the main caster of the event. In addition, he is good friends with Shinji Kagawa of the Manchester United and Yuto Nagamoto of the Internazionale.

Showing his interest and love for the hosting stint, Tegoshi even expressed his willingness to host next year's event in Brazil too.
