Oh man are you all kidding, this is easily her most interesting PV since STEP you! And I LOVED the cheesy bits, it's very Tommy february6, if you think about it. The whole thing was just such a treat to watch.

The thing was definitely a parody of many western pop elements, and I think we should look at it as that rather than a blatant ripping off those elements and trying to pass off as her own.

So many mixed feelings...Ayu is really doing what SHE wants now and if it is really a parody, then i think this PV should make some sense too...

Those who havent watch Birtney's PV will of course say its cool etc. But if u have, then u will say it lacks originality..

haha! i just simply love it! i like it. its pretty cool, and its funny! =P

i like her costumes, the way the theme changes...its seems like she's doing some sort of parody...but i like it...

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT ~

It's so DIFFERENT.. and Ayu pulls off the video and the song pretty great

I liked how the guy was spinning in the beginning of the video.

It made me laugh to see guys speaking in English.. and when she was announced, she was coughing lol!! It was cute.. and I was at least happy with the dude that kept calling her name.. and it was said RIGHT

The last part.. was hilarous

Ayu can be sexy wearing just about any clothing, in just about any situation.. :p

honestly, I actually get much more bothered by her fake crying and faking innocence, those actually seem unreal.

The meaning of the PV by me:

-Yellow: The land of the rasing sun in other words JAPAN! (NOT KILL BILL U PPL!).

-See how she parody's herself and uses the (M)U image?"for ppl who feel down about something" maybe she knows how we felt down by her (M)U album and the rest.

-The whole scenery is furistic as Japan is supposed to be.

-It is a parody of pop videos and japan and ayu too.

-ayu drilling her way out of the mine/cave: ppl thought she was dead and forgotten.

-the black scenary: Ayu with old things and stuff -dead-... (see how the dancers come to live?)

-ayumi coming from the fire: PHOENIX!

- Startin': New beginging, new sun, new life!.

that's what I truly Believe! =D

0h andMC Tatsujin the scene from the movie is from CASSHERN! although that landing is used very often everythere.

and AGAIN no brit or kill bill anywhere... I don't like brit so I don't care.

hitomi can pull it off well whereas Ayu cannot, in my opinion. She did try too hard to be sexy in this PV. I don't know but she'll never look sexy to me. She maybe pretty, but defintely not sexy.

And why even bother compare Ayu with Ku? I don't think Ayu can achieve the reputation of using sex appeal that Ku has established anytime soon.

But yeah.. i didn't like the song much to begin with, and the PV didn't really interest me. PRIDE was better, sadly. I'm saving "Born to Be...". I haven't heard the preview or anything. I hope it's worth it. Though, i REALLY miss her composing days..

Ayu can pull off being sexy VERY well, that's one of the reasons she appears on countless photoshoots and magazines (being pretty alone wouldn't have done that, as being pretty is not the only characteristic for someone to become a trend setter for fashion).. A lot of her covers have been sexy and she did a great job: LOVEppears is a perfect example (I actually think she looked more sexy in the LOVEppears cover than hitomi i her LOVE LIFE cover). Of course she'll never look sexy to you, you probably have stuck in your mind that ayu has to look girly and innocent and has no place into trying anything different.

i really love this pv, and i've watched it for several times,it's amzing~~

she looks so beautiful and so young in this pv. i didnt mean that she was not young, she just looks like some 20-year-girl who is so full of energy~~

i love this pv

and the last grin on ayu's face,it's so cute~~~
