so, for people questioning promotion...

the promotion for this was/is everywhere in japan.

some of the trains are entirely filled with GAP ads, inside and out--and then the tv screens are playing the commercial (without audio) on repeat.

Then in Shibuya, the screens and speakers constantly play the commerical every few minutes. And then not to mention the GAP stores themselves.

So it isn't that there is lack of promotion, campaign wise.

The strange thing is that, on the day it was released, I was looking for it in Tower Records in Shibuya...and I couldn't find it at all..it didn't even have a little display area like all new releases get (of popular artists)...and so I questioned myself whether or not i had the release date wrong, and went home and checked..and it was released on that day...

it was really strange...

but it stinks that it did so badly...i honestly thought it would do really, really well o__o and im not a HUGE yuna fan, i just figured with all the promotion it would sell at least top 5 .__.

^Man, with that much promotion the ranking and sales only seem creepier!

Though... if you couldn't find it for sale... I wonder why they wouldn't have sent out more copies/sent them earlier. Maybe she RADICALLY lost her priority within her label? o__o That badly?

That's very very very bad and weird! Both songs are good esp Mafuyu no seiza.

But it's weird to not be able to find her single..

i only like that song JUJU did with spontania. but yuna? i dunno, but if it's a ballad, then maybe she'll have more success.

The problem is that Koi wa groovy x2 isn't having sufficient promotion to sell well. Even the single is lacking on most of the stores. My cousin who lives in Japan didn't even know about the release, he just knew about the song because of Msta. There's no promotion at all, in fact.

That's one of the main reasons why I hate Sony Music Japan. And also, heeeey, I know you have your own digital store, but could you please up your releases to iTunes too? We all need HQ covers sometimes, ho.

The sales are disappointing. I'm not a Yuna fan but I loved this song. I was hoping it would sell well and she would make more songs like it .
