[DAYS]PV Discussion

I thought it was really good. A lot better than what I expected, and a lot better than GREEN.

The emotion of the PV was good and it was pretty easy to follow along with it.

But I'm wondering what the trick was that Ayu mentioned...

^I think with "trick" she meant twist, when Shuya hands the helmet to some other girl with the ring on.

I loved it, and I knew it would make me cry... Shu-ya is such a bad guy!!
I love her acting, not overdoing the crying or anything, it was absolutely perfect~

Anyone else just think of nagase and ayu's relationship if the rumors are true through the whole video and song though or was that just me?

i honestly love the PV, and i hardly love ayu's PVs this much, lol. i thought ayumi was beautiful (but her expressions were a bit too cute ) but she looked so pretty. the storyline was pretty typical, but i just LOVE the song the most. i'm totally satisfied.

I didn't really like the twist; predictable and not creative at all.

But i love the crying part, which was nicely executed and ayu looked so young in the pv

So, Ayu and her dancers are portraying street dancers, right? I just realised that after watching the PV for so many times, lol. Not that it has anything to do with the storyline. Ayu singing a sappy love song in an abandoned factory wearing street clothes, lol.

But what is up with her female dancers in the end? Kayanocchi and Midoring...OMG Midoring, I can never look at her the same way again since GREEN. STAY AWAY FROM AYU. They still seem to retain the DIVA-ness of the GREEN PV. =___=

This director REALLY likes to make Ayu cry, huh? Well, at least she's not overreacting, and I'm just glad both Ayu and Shuya got relatively mellow roles, nothing too overly dramatic. We all know how awesome their sad faces are


Sad there weren't many AyuShuya scenes though, I could raelly used a new set.

I thought the PV was lovely. Very refreshing and an interesting storyline. I also thought her crying was much better than it has been in the past. I thought it was pretty clear that the first part of the PV was a dream. It's 6pm and then later it's 8pm. And the scenes are almost identical in the beginning part...

As for the song, it goes along with the PV very well, but on its own, I definitely don't care for it. But hey, at least it's not as boring as Close To You.

Loved it! So cute and Ayu's acting was so sincere! Both PV's are equally good in my opinion and so different from each other! Can't wait for this single!

good PV, well acted although it got momentum fell in it.. which is boring, but its WAY better than GREEN, if obly green has better plot and story like DAYS pv, it would be great single.

I loved the PV. Great story line! I thought it was sweet and touching yet really sad. Ayu's acting was actually not that bad. I'm quite happy of the result. I'm kinda annoyed that Shuya plays her love in the PV but she tends to use her dancers... XD Anyway, I really liked the ending. That was really sweet.

I have to also say that I find Ayu absolutely beautiful in the PV. I love her outfits and her look in the PV as well. Why can't she look this fantastic in every PV!? XD

Finally, the song is . I love it. I love the winter feel and I like that it has a mid-tempo rock sound to it.

Oh, I absolutely ADORE "Close to you". Maybe that's why I like "Days" too.

I agree with lfebaggins,she might be mixing her dreams and reality, but still, I think the ring is part of the dream because is her inner sense telling her that she's not the other girl; she has seen the ring before that's why it's in her dream, deep down she knows the truth.

At the end she's crying 'cause she feels stupid for thinking her dream was real, the ring is her reality check.

Is like when you dream something really beautiful, about a person, and something triggers your mind and you realize it was just a dream and you feel silly.


but other than that, is a beautiful PV, ayu looks amazing and it's a really touching song I love it so much.

I loved the PV and song. First PV/song that I have enjoyed from Ayumi since her (miss) understood days. The PV was a total CRASH AND BURN hahaha.

I really loved it!

Honestly, 60% of my attention was on the video and 40% of it was on the song. I thought the song was absolutely beautiful, though! (And I know it's instantly going to go in the polls of "Favorite Winter Ballads" with No way to say and Close to you, as examples. )

I cried; I really did! Okay, tears welled up in my eyes, but I wasn't bawling. I cried sad tears and the "reality" kicked in (for Ayu's character) and I was crying happy tears at the end. ^^

Overall, I thought it was a bit better than GREEN.

i liked it better than GREEN and all her recent MVs!! but it's so confined to such a small setting that it did seem a bit boring... but i liked it a lot!!! one of the few i'd like to watch again. love the fashion too!!!

and omg, she looked so darn cute. especially when she cried. i just wanted to hug her and pinch her cheeks!!!

The whole dream thing really makes sense with this.. which is why it kinda blurs out when she wakes up for real at 8 [not 6] and yeaah.

After all the whole theme of the PV was an unrequited young love or what have you. Meaning that she really doesn't have her feelings returned.

Good PV and awesome song. It's only good because it's Takahide, who I still don't think is good enough for Ayu direction.. (but he's still better than Kazuyoshhhhhhhhhhh)

I really loved the PV. I thought it was a breath of fresh air compared to MW and GREEN. I'm still confused as to whether or not the first half was a dream though..

I really liked the "We all are people" shirt she wore. I wonder if you would be able to buy that anywhere, perhaps in a sweatshirt or zipper hoody? That would be pretty sweet!
