Can i say that the PCDL sold on Singapore shelves are of lower quality than the re-produced HK version?

Nice theory about the cashier machines being set to discount 50% of all items. It makes more sense if that's the case.

It is the reproduced HK version. They imported them in, isn't it?

hard to say....SG might be bringing them in, but i think they change the slipcase or something, coz they have to add in their Warner Music logo afterall, so the paper/printing quality could have go down.
i can't say anything much as i had not see the SG version with my eyes yet.

nah, i'm 99.99% sure the slipcase/paper must be reproduce locally, or how do they print that Warner Music logo on it.

what's the region code anyway? don't tell me they goof up again and used the JP original print to redo and leave the 'code 2' thingie there again....

^But the slipcase got no Warner Logo leh. And this time the region code is correct, hehe.

By the way foxhana, my PCDL wasn't crushed in my bag or anything because I was holding it in the CD Rama plastic bag itself so I guess I'm just unlucky ):

Hmm i think the CD quality is okay? much better than previous DVDs. i finished watching it, very retro (especially with the swimsuit and green pants...) and she stuffed her boobs O_O . ahh well.

if you still have your receipt, you should go and change, afterall you are paying the same amount as other's, you don't deserve to have a case that have problem

No logo basically means the DVDs are imported from Hong Kong. I guess like Genie said, they reproduced the slipcase and the exterior. And I don't like HSM because it's overrated and childish.

oh gosh so no one can help me on the gramophone thing? >_< i hate getting back half the CDs and only say 10 bucks back for 10 cds. maybe even less.

Warner S'pore stopped producing her DVDs from the arena (miss)understood DVD onwards & from ATOS , the DVDs of ayumi have been imported from Hong Kong to be sold here

i'm not sure though, but i don't think you can get much money from selling there.
as i bought some second hand cds there for a very cheap price, like $3 to $5...and Gramaphone have to earn some money from your cd, so you could really end up with $1 or $2 per cd. it will be a beter idea to sell here at AHS, there might be people who wants them, at least if you sell $3 or $5 here, you still get back more money.

i think you can call gramaphone to ask?

I'm not planning on wanting them back.. of course i do feel a little pitiful that i won't get them back... but they are mostly very very very old CDs, like 5566 first album's first version. but since they're almost gone from sight? i don't htink its worth very much. i dont want to leave them at home, my room is small.. and they take up too much space. >_<
