And I thought the 3D ver and JPN Ver were one in the same? They're different? I don't think I could take a 3rd Genie MV!!!! I'd die of happiness!!! XD

LOL. I remember the first time I listened to SNSD.

Okay, so it was a cold winter night in 2009. Around November. Me, Mom and Dad were dressed in T-Shirt and trousers (we must have been mad) and we were walking out of the cinema about 10.45PM when the film finished. I listened to 소원을 말해봐 (Genie), and it gave me goosebumps, mainly due to the footsteps opening/closing the song. I loved it. It made me love SNSD, and I still do now.

Okay then, so what was your first memory of listening to SNSD?

^ There was a big fuss about them copying some Rihanna song with "Oh!" so I listened to it to try to hear the similarities but could hardly hear anything but was like "omg this song is really awesome sounding/catchy" and loved the video too, I thought it was soo cute. I've been really into them ever since then

For me it was March '09, I was totally clueless about kpop (didn't know what I was missing) but I was obsessed with Boys Before Flowers, so I decided to give it a shot and went to elepop's kpop recommendations thread, and the first thing to catch my eyes was a picture of nine beautiful girls .. I knew them from before as I remembered when they first debuted and everyone called them 'the female Super Junior'. So I checked their discography and the name "Gee" sounded cute so I went to imeem (I miss that place T___T) and watched the mv. Their beauty, the cute choreography, and the catchy beat just stunned me ! I found myself repeating the video and watching it over and over again, which was weird to me since I didn't watch the mv many times back in my Jpop-only days.
My first impression on the girls : Jess caught my attention first, she was my favorite back then <3 .. I thought Sooyoung was just GORGEOUS (And I still do XD) .. Hyo just stood out a lot, I guessed that she must be really popular (the irony ..) .. Seobaby, Yoona, and Yuri were triplets in my eyes, I was shocked whenever I saw people being able to tell them apart (the look so different to me now tho )

I've knew about them since last summer, there was a time I've heard their songs at first, but they were only Gee and Genie. I wasn't very interested in them, I just "accepted" their existence ("Me and boybands and girlbands? Never!" -> LOL how much everything has changed since then). This May/June... Discovering k-pop in more details I decided to check out their discography, watch MVs, lives and some variety shows cuts. And I fell in love with them With beautiful, talented, down to earth girls.

identity: I always go "What the hell?" whenever I hear/read comparisons for Oh! and Shut Up and Drive How come those songs are similar to each other?

i fell in love with them ever since Gee... that song is soooooooo catchy~~ and i think most ppl falling in love with them since that song too.. because that song is like sooo phenomenal everywhere....even my bf too..(he went crazy downloading anything he could find bout them LOL, and I'm lucky to get all the "free' downloads from him lol)
what made me stunned is that they won 9 n more mutizens in a row, like every weeks of Music Bank and Inkigayo!! AWESOMENESS..
none of the artists could do like that, ever, yet~
the girls are just awesome!

yet, so many ppl kinda hate them T___T
they always underestimate their abilities..and always accuse their popularity is always because of other artists..goshh i was liked, wth!
they deserve it because they have talents to show!

and the sad story happened in the Dream Concert 2008~ when TVXQ fans plus Super Junior fans n others planned on boycott-ing the girls when they showed up...
and they really did.. they turned off their lights when it was the girls' performances... they were crying seeing the reaction like that..gosh..how sad was that...
n the reason of them doing it because they thought the girls back then were so rude to their seniors.. even though those seniors didn't really care of their jokes they said in the radios/TV shows..it was plain joking and whatnot!

I'm a new fan.. maybe about 1 month old or something, lol. Tbh, I kinda despised them in the past... I mean to me, they were but 9 plastic dolls who're incapable of singing and only using sex/cuteness to sell. i mean they were so overrated in my school back then I just got annoyed. And I remembered someone showing me the dance version of Gee and I kinda went " okay..."

But now, omg I felt ashamed I actually despised them! Most of them are reli talented in whatever they're doing - singing, dancing or personality-wise.... I love most of them now~~

Oh btw, would you like to do a ranking of the members? I mean since Japan just did one... Remember putting someone in last place doesn't you hate them!

2. Fany Just.. She's sexy, her vocal range is amazing, she can dance. I just really like her xD
3. Hyoyeon.. She's just.. ugh.. The way she moves her body is just *w* *drool*
4. Sicca I don't think she can sing, but she is adorable~ I like her personality, and when she is on Variety shows she always makes me laugh xD
5. Taengoo~ The Kid Leader!
6. Yul ..... She can be sweet sometimes, but I think after watching IY how everyone fawned over her kind of was a turn off to me.
7. Souyoung She has hot legs I don't know why she's so low on my list.. -shrug- She's amazing too.
