It'd be a bit of a waste for her to talk to Kikuchi about making a new song only to not use it in the end though, right?

There was this gap of time between him making a song and actually submitting it to Ayu's recording engineer person. So I think he was asked to make the song rather than selected from a group of random demos, you know?

And while it would be a waste, not everything always goes as planned.
