Ongaku no Hi lasted 13 hours . It started yesterday 2pm til today 5am Japan time . SID performed somewhere around 2am or so x.x

SID to simultaneously release 2 B-side collections

SID will simultaneously release 2 B-side collections, "Side B complete collection ~e.B 2~" and "Side B complete collection ~e.B 3~", on August 21.

This is the 7th part of SID's 10th anniversary project. It's also their first B-side collection since releasing "Side B complete collection ~e.B~" back in August of 2008. More details will be revealed later.

SID is getting ready to release a new single, "Summer Lover", on July 24. They will then kick off their anniversary tour on the 27th.

SID make surprise appearance at ceremony for fashion brand 'VANQUISH'

On July 24, SID made a surprise appearance at a ceremony for fashion brand 'VANQUISH' at 109MEN'S in Shibuya. To also commemorate the band's 10th anniversary, the members did '10 Celebrations'.

'VANQUISH' and SID's collaboration t-shirts are on sale now at 4 'VANQUISH' stores nationwide. Many fans stopped by 109MEN'S to pick up t-shirts. The ceremony started with a tape cut followed by the breaking of an ornamental ball (kusudama-wari), the breaking of a sake cask (kagami-biraki), a toast (kanpai), a cake presentation, cracker firing, a bouquet presentation, daruma doll signing, three cheers, and a hand clap (ippon-jime).

SID will kick off their outdoors tour, 'SID 10th Anniversary TOUR 2013', on July 27. During the middle of their tour, their B-side collections, "Side B complete collection ~e.B 2~" and "Side B complete collection ~e.B 3~", will be released simultaneously on August 21.

SID to release new single + DVD + live event at Nippon Budokan

SID has announced the 8th to 10th parts of their 10 year anniversary project.

The 8th part of SID's 10 year anniversary project is a new single (currently untitled) which will be released on November 6th. More details on this will be announced later.

Subsequently, for the 9th part, the band will release a DVD titled 'SIDNAD Vol.9 ~YOKOHAMA STADIUM~' on December 11th. This will include footage from the Yokohama Stadium concert they held back in April.

Finally, the 10th part will be a live event on December 27th at Nippon Budokan. This event, called 'Visual BANG!~SID 10th Anniversary FINAL PARTY~', will feature guest appearances by AYABIE, R Shitei, Alice Juban×Steam Girls, Kameleo, ZORO, DIV, DaizyStripper, DOG inThe Parallel World Orchestra, ν[NEU], and Moran. These guest artists will release a cover single of SID's "Mousou Nikki" on December 11th.

This time round , the DVD contents is more 'meatier' & the (re)release of HALLOWEEN PARTY for this year will be only in a standard CD + DVD edition , unlike last year where it was released in a regular & limited CD + DVD editions .

SID, Aqua Timez Perform 2nd Magi Season's Theme Songs

The official website for the Magi anime announced on Sunday that the musical groups SID (pictured right) and Aqua Timez (below) will perform the opening and ending theme songs, respectively, for the second season. SID's "Anniversary" single will go on sale on November 6. The release date of Aqua Timez' ending theme song "Eden" has not been set.

SID vocalist Mao said that they were delighted to return for the second season after contributing the first opening theme song "V.I.P" for the previous season. He added that he thinks that their new song worked out well because it reflects how Aladdin and the others are embarking into a new world in Magi, and it reflects the band's own feelings on facing their 10th anniversary.

Aqua Timez vocalist Futoshi acknowledged that his group created "Eden" before they were aware of Magi, so they were surprised and thrilled that it was linked to the world of Magi, by chance or by fate.

The second season, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, premiered on Sunday, October 6 at 5:00 p.m. (4:00 a.m. EDT).

SID and Aqua Timez to provide theme songs for anime 'Magi'

MBS/TBS anime 'Magi' will be starting its 2nd season on October 6. It's been revealed that SID and Aqua Timez will be providing the new opening and ending themes.

This will be SID's second time to be in charge of the anime's theme song. Their song "V.I.P" was used as the opening theme from episodes 1-12 in the 1st season. The upcoming opening song will be titled "ANNIVERSARY" and it will be released as their new single on November 6th.

Meanwhile, Aqua Timez will be providing their song "Eden" as the ending theme. Futoshi (Vo) commented, "I had made the song before knowing about Magi. Whether it's coincidence or fate, I am filled with surprise and joy that it links with Magi's world."
