Topic of what do we want on next album could last forever, but I don't mind, I really like to read how amazingly diffrent tastes we have

I don't want anything NEXT LEVEL, I mean not the "genre" of it, but NL, Guilty and RnRC are 3 albums that feels rushed for me the most. But as I said, I don't mind liking them by others, cause our tastes are veeery diffrent and that's the magic of Ayu's music - everyone can find something unique just for them (:

I would love something "all-in-one" like (miss) so everyone could enjoy it something favorite just for them. I think when songs are from many genres, they feels more unique. That's why I love (miss)understood, but I wouldn't mind something "edgy" and "nostalgic sounded" like Duty or Love songs.

^ Haaah yes, there's just so much to choose from when it comes to Ayu~ I always think how I want something that sounds like this or that album, and then she usually comes out with something that I find hard to make proper comparisons with. Songs will sound like each other but not in a copycat way.

I wonder what this thread will turn into once the album news finally comes out XD Will we keep talking on like this?

^ Aww, *hugs* As it stands now for me, an upbeat fun album would be pretty nice. I think it's about time Ayu releases something cheerful, if not only for herself but for a sort of "escape" for the fans who probably need a nice distraction and a reminder of the various little fun things in life. You need a balance between the serious and the cheerful.

^ I really want a Next Level-ish album. I want fun upbeat songs, but with a twist. Party Queen has a really cool electronic sound that is different for her and I'm stoked to see what other songs she has come up with! I want more Rule-type songs too. I love Ayu when she gets heavy!!! Like Mirrorcle World. I love Ayu's more serious side, but I really want to see a great 'rock-pop' album from her. She can do anything! Go from heavy rock with metal influences to bubbly pop. That's what I want!

Yeah, I can get what you guys mean... Like a friend of mine said, it's been a while since her last real pop songs... You know, ayu records "whatever she wants", and even NEXT LEVEL, that is very eletronic-ish, has some experimental/unique sound on it, and is the last one of hers that has this "pop" feeling so far. Since this style usually pops up when it comes to ayu, probably this new album will be more of a up-beat album. Love songs was mainly mid-tempo, and FIVE was way more heavy than I was expecting, so something like NL would be of a good balance

If It comes to NEXT LEVEL - i can agree - that I want a less-ballad album. One or two would be perfect.

for me, it can be anything just not a ballad/medium like RED LINE, crossroad, Sweet Season, Why...etc. I want anything pop, rock, electro -maybe something angry, something fun, something not so oridinary... Just not the slow-type song like she does with ballads and "medium" ones.

Lol I seem to be a minority.

I would have preferred ballads. Like... Really touching, sad, nostalgic ballads. I mostly love Ayu for her ballads and for some reason I have always considered her a ballad singer.

But I would love anything from her! Upbeat, rockish, ballads, mid-tempo. Actually I equally enjoy almost every her album (except LOVEppears, but it's growing on me lately), so I'm really looking forward to whatever she releases. And actually I agree with pepper, the best outcome would be if she included a bit of everything in her album: cheerful pop, electronic dance track, fierce song, tragic ballad, something nostalgic, R'n'B etc.

^ Nah, that's how I feel too when it comes to the ballads but I'd be happy with/settle with upbeat stuff. BASICALLY ANYTHING WITH AYU ON IT WILL BE ENJOYABLE TO ME. IT COULD BE A SONG WITH JUST HER WALKING AROUND TOKYO WITH ALL THE SOUND EFFECTS AND I'D LOVE IT IDGAF
