But Namie only have one version of the single... both Kuu & Ayu have 2 or 3 version.

So what? It's not like everyone buys every version out there.

I agree. I don't think the number of versions is important for the sale numbers. And Kumi's last single only had the standard versions.

After Namie's new single comes out on 01/29, you will know whether she did well or not...

And some people don't, if not most. Morning Musume has had 8 versions before when they were performing horribly and those never helped. Ayu had a CD only and a CD+DVD (+one fan club edition) so why is it even a big deal? Not that many people buy each edition to make a difference in sales.

I think the single sold well, because I think it was pretty bad
the production was very cheap, not only the music arrangement and sound, but the PVs were not much interesting |

1 absolute fire song 1 garbage song 1 meh song I think it'll do OK but all the namie stans and some regular people will buy the future new album instead as usual. Otherwise BBC would have sold 380k. Although her selling power is lessening, much like our Ayuma and Kumi Kehova (but these two are in an all time selling low) |

Yeah there are times when Namie's bitch fans actually ruin her music for me...I generally like her. Not everything she does, but she has a lot of songs I like.
Anyways, I think Feel the love/Merry-go-round is selling just alright. And it would be nice if it could break 40k eventually. |

I think 40k is really possible. Lets be optimistic

I've felt this way about Namie and Utada's fans before as well.
I suppose all their bitterness comes from the time when Ayu was doing amazing and Namie was flopping for like a decade. Were Ayu fans this mean to the Namie fans during that time? I don't remember. Either way I think they've been better in recent times besides that UH+ person.

Just ignore those superficial fans.
I'm pretty sure ayu and namie are on good terms. Like how she enjoyed ayu's CDL and tours. What I liked to see is ayu attending namie's tour though =(

Namie has a chance of selling better but that's because she has a constant great promo and marketing, getting 2 songs from the single in fashion CMs (and of popular brands AKA gucchi) reminding the public she still exists, she also enjoys the leftovers of her 2nd peak, so yeah she still might do better. On the other hand she's still declining. But her management does good damn job to make it really slow, especially if she will release a best this year or the next, namie still gets great, really great promo. Let alone the first a-side being a ballad which the public love. Namie's management is awesome. ayu and kuu don't seem really interested on being kept in such a way in the spotlight, or else they would try to promote themselves like in the past, like namie, which will be in their present position in some time. Her management helped her make the public love her (kinda like hikki, maybe even more) and she got really lucky with that. So yeah, namie's single might sell better than ayu's, but it really doesn't say anything. Non got the slowest decline ever, which ayu had. ayu's decline was like a really safe, fun and enjoyable getting off the mountain.
