All my little family members love her~
They think she's like some crazy princess or queen or something. They get like fascinated by her clothes, lol. They love Kuu too, but for other reasons. Nasty kids~ XD

 But... where I live, it's like Ayu doesn't even exist. I know there are some Ayu fans scattered around France. But I haven't met a single one.

From where I live, some people have heard of her and/or know her, but she's not very popular. For instance, they'd prefer Utada over Ayumi. oO' But it's okay. I like 'em both. XD

well, in Peru , I think that may be 2 or 3 FANS of her, but some ones knows her because animes are very popular her songs ( DEAREST/ INUYAHSA ) and the anime fans always question .. who sing DEAREST, Ohhh is really nice.. . they know her something of her.. but The FANS ..only 3 ..

I think it's about 10 people in my town who know Ayumi. And 2-3 who listen.

I think ayu is the best-selling japanese singer in singapore. Her fans here don't seem very united though. We just support her through our solo efforts. I wish there could be some sort of official club or something to put pressure on organizers to get her to perform here.

I live in Pennsylvania in the U.S. ... no one knows anyone outside American pop culture... everyone says to me "why do you listen to japanese music? you must be obsessed with asians" all the time "you're so obsessed... this asian thing has got to stop kyle" "Kyle, why can't you just be normal for once"
haha.... but i'm going to Japan in 2 years so maybe I'll get to see ayu

I live in California...and well...she is semi-known in my area right now...but still not really...
It seems like sometimes a lot of people know her here...but relative to the population...no one really knows her... my asian friends do though lol it was hilarious...one time we were making cookies...and my friend starts humming no more words...and i was like.."wth...how do you know that song?" "Inuyasha" Figures.

I live in NY (well Long Island specifically) and I think the only people who know about her are people who are rea~lly into Inuyasha or .. lol if they're friends with me. One of my friends said she got two cds from a Japanese artist and it "wasn't really her thing" so she gave them to me - turns out it was Ayu's "Duty" and A BEST lol.
But basically I try to spread the Ayu love as much as I can and have successfully passed her songs on to a few of my friends now, who are all really impressed and, to use their word, "smitten" with her music. This makes me happy because mostly they don't listen to Japanese music (or any music that isn't in English).

Where I live, the only people who like Ayu are the ones I've (lol) converted, like my best friend. Now, she even has Ayu's music on her iPod. My cousins and my brothers listen to her too, but my brothers only do when I put my music really loud in my bedroom.
 Besides that, Ayu is pretty much unknown in my town. But it's nice to at least have one friend who enjoys her music too. It sucked to seriously be the only one to like her.
