Thoughts on Alterna PV - Page 8

I must say, it WAS very weird. It was qutie random to me and the song didn't impress me. =/ i'm sorry. But this is like the ONE ayu song I immediately don't like at all..Oh well. Haha. But the PV i give big credits for creativity. It was really amazing and original ^ ~

everybody really curious about the meaning behind this PV eh?!
SAME here...from what i get after watch this PV for 10 times...
and here is my interpretation

i think white room mean reality world
and colorful world mean fantasy or the world that people want to be

in colorful world, it shows cute and innocent ayu...
but in the real world ayu is not that innocent she have a brain and a strong power and also she still have purity (that being shown by her white body)
the clown is deal with music industry or entertainment industry (not avex) thats really complex and hard.Clown means fun thing and their formal clothes deal with industry

in this PV it show how ayu can get contract with avex too...
the ayu doll mean everyone that want to be like ayu or everyone in music industry that want to have the same popularity with her(what i can say about this?! hmm confuse to describe it)
although they have a hard promotion (its show by the newspaper) its jsut nothing compare to her real power

the real ayu power being show when she use tamborin and eyeball on the mouth that show she have a musical power and voice to stand still in the music industry.
She close her eyes when use her mouth as her eyes, i think its mean that everybody usually say that she just use her sex appeal to stand still in this music industry but she want to say that sex appeal its not her main power. her main power is her voice and musical talent, even she is just use her hand to play tamborin and just have a mouth she can survive in music industry

in the end we can see ayu doll being dumped to garbage, it means that she believe its useless to trying dumped her, finally all of her rival that want to be like her will get dumped
and she will still being the real ayu that everybody like and stand still in this music industry, we can see it from the tv show that show the real ayu being watched by innocent kid and still like her, in every way she looks

i just really impressed with ayu creativity, i never imagine that she will made this kind of PV. its just really wonderful and AWESOME...
i LOVE it, sorry if my english is not that good, its hard to not use my mother language to describe something.hope all of you can understand what i mean
hope FAIRYLAND will GAIN a HUGE success...she has working REALLY hard for this single

I think alterna is like a dark comedy kind of thing, as in haha, everything's so happy and nice on the outside, but as the PV says itself, life is a "beautiful trap" at times! Still loving the gothic look and haha, hoped to see more of the cute ayu!

The dark clowns were just scaring me out too much but white Ayu was cool! Haha, I think it's really good though! Loving alterna! Very very much!

Well, I would say something poetic.. kinda like, she's lost her ability to see, but can metaphorically have sight with the words that she sings..

haha. so many thoughts... i guess ill just add to the jaw dropping and shocked face.. ayu was different this time... its not a horrible thing though because it proves she has different styles to interpret her work. its quite amazing how she dared to produce such an odd pv. is it me or do i also see negative sexual context. it might have a symbolic meaning of some sort. cant seem to pinpoint what. and to greggerz189, great morning pun. lmao.

I gotta say I'm impressed by this song/pv. I had given up an ayu, but now I think shes "back". I only say this because I've been listening to ayu for 4-5 years and her last few albums were disappointing (maybe from pressure to release albums too fast .. dunno). But I would really like to know the lyrics to this song to understand it fully.

It really makes you think. Even if you didn't know what the words meant, you probably could get an idea of what the thougt behind it was. As for the Ayu ... doll ... with missing ligaments ... *shudders* and that innocent motionless expression on the doll? ...

=\ so many people posted, it's kind of pointless to have so many posts because no one can read other peoples thoughts =x they just get buried.

Anyway, it is nothing like a bjork video =\ seriously, I dont think you people have seen a bjork video ha ha ha! I guess it is similiar to Cocoon, but I dont see how it's like any other video. The onlything similiar is the white body paint.

The video was similiar to rock videos in the 90's, I would even say a the Madonna videos from "Bed Time Story," refearing to the song "Bed Time Story," (which was written by bjork) and "Human Nature."

Everyone in this video has strings. Which is saying everyone is controled by someone else, even the clowns. I think it's kind of way of saying, "Im a person, but so are you," she is saying people (tabliods, maybe even avex) are doing things because someone else is controling them (with money) to do things.

Everyone knows the possible meanings of the doll, and the ending, blah blah =\ lets not bring it up again XD

The little kids at the end, one that is a pervert.... I think it's kind of saying, "even pure things are corrupt." It's almost an innocent corrution. Possibly her growing up so fast corropted her today (with money, and objects she might not need)?

I've seen every Bjork video, and I see a lot of similarity between this and Bachlorette. They give off a lot of the same feeling.

I see elements from Bachlorette, Fever, Bedtime Stories, Real Me and Ourselves, all rolled into one and it's a great combination.

Yep, they eyeballs symbolizes that people are using more mouth than their eyes (I think that was directed to all the rumors and stuff the media released)

Oh yes that could be a possiblity since lately tabloids have been going crazy writing about Ayumi's life..

Ayu will never cease to amaze me.. while I am totally freaked by the clown guys.. I really do end up liking the PV more or less.
The song is great, Ayu is cute in that dress.. the eyeball/tongue is a little weird..
But I love it.. Now I cant wait to see how totally different fairyland is..
