I believe that it was deleted along with the others[and mine] to preserve the peace.. however I don't think that the tension comes from those with a negative opinion of Koda, but the fans that create tension when they come across such comments.

My comment was nothing special, though. I just said that I don't see any effort in her latest releases, and that's something that many Kumi fans have been saying.

I must say that I was deeply touched by this interview, no matter how commercial, on-purpose it may seem to be. Koda Kumi is herself, no matter what. Ever since I started liking her music her own Kuu-self appealed to me as genuine. Forget images and sales. She tried her best to reach her goal, no matter what it took. I respect her now even more.

My opinion, Mai Kuraki's debut single was very good for me, it is the only song I like of her, didnt like anything else after that...
and about ASFxx...well it wasnt that good and Ayu wasnt that good singer either..but I think Kuu was better in her debut, better than Ayu..I mean, if you hear Kuu auditions..her voice didnt change much from back then..its just improved a little for me...she was already very good at singin' but no good looking for them..
This interview of Kuu made me think about it, even though she has a sexy image in this interview and in the others she looks so cute and natural, I dont think she really want to have that sexy image but as someone said before, there are persons, like her, that dont wanna give up on their dreams, no matter how much is hard and sometimes you have to do things that makes you feel bad...from what I understood she did auditions for 7 or more years before debut...if she was someone else maybe after some time would have quit, maybe if I were here, after 7 damn years I would have quit and think to dont have any hopes...but she didnt, and she debuted with Avex...and she doesnt want to quit her sexy image = depending on avex who treats her like a bot, she doesnt want that all this years, 7 years before debut plus years after her debut only because of this..she wants to be strong and pass this until the day she will be able to quit this sexy image...its just my thought but I think its correct ^^

^ I kind of agree with you. I think that now she is kind of afraid to NOT do the sexy image, because it seemed to her that it was the sexy image that made her a success. She always had such low self-esteem, and when she tried to hard to make good music and be a good singer from her debut to no avail, she kept thinking it had to be appearance and sex-appeal that made your music sell. It's like she said in the interview, "I really don't want to go back to that time."

She was very good for me at that time, but maybe many other fans dont think so and buy because she is sexy...who knows? but for me she was good since her debut, her take back and trust your love are very good songs, still ones of my favorites...and I think she is right, sometimes artists sells only for the image

I don't mean you personally. And what I mean by Nasty comments are like..."her ****ty images"...."acting like a ****" or whatsoever.
I don't really mind about the comments on 4 hot wave.

It's that her erotical image is giving her publicity. So far there hasn't been anyone like that, right?...

I'm guessing Japanese fans have sort of naive approach towards anything idol, they don't dig deeper into this, they don't think about it in terms of what is Koda's image making her look like or appear like.

We, on one hand, say that she behaves/appears ****tish, but on the other hand, we know she is nothing like that - thus the insults we throw are as empty as fake is her image.

That is the weird phenomenon I see when it comes to Koda Kumi.


I think right now she's on a good way on securing her career as a somebody with a strong reputation on the music market, so she could venture into becoming a grown up artist that doesn't need an eye-magnetising image to force the way through.
After all, you actually can appear very sexy without needing to looking like a prostitute.

This is the part that we know more about Koda Kumi daily life.

OK, according to Uwasa, the brazilian site that did the first recap, first reported about the special and is now posting it in YouTube, Koda Kumi talks alot about man in this part of the special (I guess it's for the school girls, but I'm not 100% sure) and she said some not very classy things about them (mostly about how the girls need a man or something like that, they didn't specify what she said and I can't translate to English because what the site said was very misleading if translated to english) and used lots of "gyaru" (gals) slangs (and to japanese people, gyaru = easy girls).

There's the whole thing she said to the schoolgirls.
