I feel better about the song than I did originally however.

I'm glad she's going back to making upbeat pop-y music. It's not one of her best songs, though it is a good one =)

A Minnie Mouse bow. A cute Siberian Husky puppy. Yellow gloves, bright purple boots, hoodie, and hat. That's all I got. Give Me Up sounds okay. Nothing spectacular but it's not too bad.

Okay, so the song is a cover (or the chorus I should say) of Michael Fortunati's "Give Me Up" which has been covered by many Japanese artists, so that's a bit disappointing, I was hoping for something fresher.

Also, wtf is up with the video? Here's what looks like happened:

Producer 1: We have to work with Nami again? But her sales suck!
Producer 2: Okay, whatever, let's just get this over with.
Producer 1: So how will we shoot this?
Producer 2: My kid's having a birthday party this weekend. It's Disney theme. We can just shoot it in my garage.
Producer 1: Let's borrow the Minnie Mouse stuff, maybe it'll be a "cosplay hit" like Namie Amuro's PLAY cover album!

EPIC FAIL.

so far, her UNIVERSAL J music/look is a BIG step down from her sony music. i really don't like it, unfortunately. why'd she have to move..

nami is so much better than that corny dancing in the PV. it's crazy.

I just watched the new PV. NOOO... what did they do to her. :/ UNIVERSAL music, grrr...

I hope her next single is going to be a lot better, with a good PV. <3

I've just listen to Give me up. I think it's not a great song the chorus is awful & the verse is limited! The pv isn't great too! Her pink bow is awful! She should give up her High school musical style!
