#1 - 12873 ouch - this is worse than any of us expected. Gackt dropped to #5 and Momosu droped by more than half as well. Did something happen yesterday lol?

I guess this single will have to struggle to sell over 100k. Come on AVEX XD do something! ^_^ We should be happy if it manages to reach 75k this week

Morning Museume dropped hard too , to 10,946 while B'z went up to #3 with 8,980

since she will be at MUSIC STATION tomorrow , maybe sales will improve ? it's quite known that when an artiste appear at MS , it can do wonders for 1's self sales

actually after this week, she'll hopefully have:

35 #1-singles released, of which 1 was a digital single, and 1 was a charity single.
That means 33 #1-singles in her official discography.

But yea... she dropped quite a lot... :/

This looks interesting to me you know. Now I can finally have some time to get interested if Ayu will get the #1 spot for a week. Of course I'm glad if she gets it. I'm very curious to see if this really happens because the songs are very good.

I made a worst case scenario and still it shows that MoMusu won't get the #1 Unless of course there will be surprises and their sales will go up or something.

After what happened with Shuchishin, I don't think Ayu fans will back down, haha.

If anyone mentions avex magic, I swear.. [I think that fanbases generally are very strong in avex, haha. Kind of like how AAA avoided getting the #2 at the last two days of sales for Mirage.. hm..]

0___0 That's lower than my low prediction. Hmmm, here's hope to surprising numbers during this week after Ayu's TV promo. She's having more TV promo for this single after all.

It seems that Avex really is testing out how well Ayu's singles can hold out. I wonder if they're re-calculating Ayu's production budget to see if she *needs* all that promotion. Otherwise I think Avex might want to relocate all that money to newer artists.

I wanna see Ayu pimped around more though... too bad that Shibuya 109 ad spot was only for Mirrorcle World. It sure was expensive. Did her previous singles before Mirrorcle World get that spot too?

It seems like for the most part, they are doing that.

However, I feel as though Ayu (read: her management) has been redirecting most of her budget for the year towards her concerts, leaving videos/CDs to suffer a bit. I wonder just how all of this is being handled by avex. Are they happy? Are they content? Are they scrambling around wondering what's going on? In most cases just being present in the top 10 would be enough to satiate a company/group/artist, but... this is Ayu we're talking about here.

Yeah, on whole tour thing, I really agree. This is depressing, but the whole "make her tour like mad while she's still popular" thing seems to be happening.

About her single sales though, I highly doubt Avex doesn't care about the sales. They're definitely throwing the bait out there to see how well her accumulated popularity from over the years can do, but they're also careful not to overdo it because they don't want the press to start writing about how she's losing out big time again or anything. (Even though they do it nowadays anyway.) Selling below 100k would be undesirable for Ayu even if she maintains a no. 1. If Ayu got a no.1 with 50k of sales in one week, that would still give the tabloids a field day, I think.
