Honestly, compared to a lot of her other releases, I don't think a lot of people even know she has a single out. My theory is that Avex is saving the promo for her next album since she usually sells more albums than singles anyways.

^agreed!, more often than not Namie slays the album charts. Why waste unnecessary promo on a single when eventually it'll be On a well-promoted album.

Although I understand the logic, I wonder why they released a single at all. If they cared more about an album, why not just keep the song and PV back for it? I know they're probably just riding on the ~Namie wave~ at the moment and probably released something to keep her relevant and in people's minds, but if people aren't even aware she released something..it's a bit useless

Oh well, the single has been enjoyable to listen to as a fan. I'm glad they decided to release it for whatever reason.

In all honesty idk lol I mean I can only imagine how costly the promo was for Uncontrolled, buses, air-time for cm's, and the painting that took some time to reveal her cover , I'm sure there was more promo going on inside music stores and on billboards as well.

i have to say i will probably end up liking this.... i think that marching beat is gonna get to me xD

i have this feeling that the tite is probably just a metaphor for your past? cuz really i dunno what kind of song could actually have a LITERAL title of contrail...unless someone made a song out of the plane manual or something xD

omfg the tshirts are ex! I pray hard for a relatively cheaper price for sg station

Namie has been releasing new stuff at a very fast rate... Contrail seems ma-ma.. hopefully a longer preview will be out soon.. Wonders if it will be sang in sg station
