thank you for this! she sounds SO so good! I'm always amazed at how precisely she can hit a particular note, despite all her limitations. her voice is clearly at a healthy state in this performance. I hope she can maintain this!

Ayu's so inconsistent. In the acapella of her upcoming single her voice is super hoarse and dry as Sahara.

Dreamed a Dream doesn't sound that bad though. Her worst moments were probably during POWER of A^3, where she could barely even get her voice out compared to this and DaD.

I initially thought the verse in Dreamed a Dream sounds robotic and heavily autotuned (which probably true), but then I remember that in POWER of A^3 she managed to hit a lot of the notes perfectly when she wasn't screaming (e.g. verses of Duty and walking proud).

my impression was that her voice sounds great in Dreamed a Dream, especially since she can comfortably sing the shouty chorus. Meanwhile in オヒアの木 she seems to struggle at places, leading to my suspicion that her voice is irreparably damaged.

she's a well-trained and competent vocalist but her voice always gets strained with exhaustion due to non-stop strenuous performances.

My god, this performance is so touching & her vocal is so clear... So beautiful, I love it.
PS : the Mad world performance is also great, WHATEVER is really good too but the vocal background is reallllly loud in my opinion. And then is one on my favourite song from her and this live is ok but I'm not fan of the beginning. Still waiting for rest of the show !!!

Wow the lighting and camera angles are so visually exciting! Nothing static about it!
She sounds great too. At the end of Ohia no Ki I was ready for her to do her vibrato but she actually kept it in check! Such a touching performance. Maybe the song is growing on me lol
The setlist also held lots of meaning.
She looks great too. I've said this before but her makeup and hair in the last year or so has been so much better then it had been. So much more natural and youthful. Granted she is definitely freshly botoxed but at least she hasn't gone overboard like in 2011 lol

Actually, she kind of looks swollen, that's usually the reason of too much filler.... I cannot decide if i think she looks great or over the top lol

I think this whole live thing is a great idea, it somewhat feels eerie without all the audience in the background, but i, for some reason, love that.

I'm so glad she's had a lot of time this year to rest. She sounded and looked great! I could tell she held back during the CDL due to giving birth so soon, but she's gained back that strength and confidence since then. I can't wait to see more!
