I enjoyed this album very much, but Pride is the only song i always skip.
It just ruins the album, though it has some amazing lyrics, i hate the song... :/
And Bold & Delicious as the 1st track is just...wrong. u_u
Even STEP you could have been a better intro for the album!!!

The new songs are incredible... (miss)understood has become my new favorite Ayu song!!! =)
Can't wait for the lyrics/translation...

If it wasn't for Bold & Delicious/Pride, this album could be her best.

I think the album is pretty good. I thought it was really weird at first, but now I'm used to it. I loved all the singles, and I thought the album flowed really well. Too bad the interludes can't be full tracks, they both were amazing. Ladies Night is really fun and catchy, In the Corner was ok, I LOVE Criminal, (miss) understood was nice, I loved Rainy day but I can't say that about Beautiful day. Overall, nice work. I think she really worked hard this year for all her fans, and I applaud her efforts

Yup, same sentiments I've got there, Demure_Dusk. In The Corner definitely comes across as a striking song. The only complain I have is that they're too structured like Intro-Verse-Chorus-Verse-Chorus-Bridge-Chorus ... I just hoped it was something like say Dolls which was pretty much more freestyle. But yup, composition wise, the album tracks are REALLY good.

I can't believe the same person who composed 'STEP you' composed 'criminal'... And he composed 'Startin' too, which sounds great so far. Ayu should use him more often.

I've come to realise Beautiful Day is a song that sacrificed its beauty to make the transition from fairyland to rainy day perfect, so now I love it.

Yeah, that is suprising - she should definitely keep him around....and pitch GEO out the window while she is at it.

Ladies Night - What is this? Tommy february6? Actually I like the fact that this song reminds me of her even though it's not such a great song. I like the chorus but the rest isn't very interesting for me.

(miss)understood - Oh, yes... Ayu's rock songs. I don't have anything much to say about this other than the fact that I simply adore it!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone had said that (miss)understood sounded like I am... I totally agree because both songs are similar in style and they both give the album its name.

In The Corner - I love how this song begins but then it gets ugly. It's just so far from Ayu's usual style (EDIT: Whoops! I just found out that this was a Sweetbox cover. That explains it). Again someone had said that it sounds like something Amuro Namie would sing which is totally true. It's a pop song but it's lacking 'Ayu pop' in my opinion.

criminal - OOOOOMMMMMGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! This is the Ayu I fell in love with after listening to alterna. Like you guys have said criminal is better than (miss)understood. It's my favorite track in the whole album!!!!!

tasking - I like all 'taskin-' interludes. The strings sound beautiful but I guess my fav. is still taskinlude.

Are You Wake Up? - I like it... as an interlude. I wouldn't like it if it was a song. Kinda reminds me of STEP you.

Beautiful Day - The insturments are pretty but like In The Corner, the 'What a beautiful day' part sounds so not Ayu and it gets very repetive after a while.

rainy day - I love the background voices. This song is a very very very pretty ballad. I don't like it as much as HEAVEN or Will, especially Will because her voice sounds much poorer compared to it, but it's one of my fav. songs in this album.

I have to say that I am very IMPRESSED with this album! MY STORY sucked balls, imo, and I was afraid that this new monkey face album would too. (I'm buying the CD+DVD version just so that I don't have to look at that horrible monkey smile everytime I want to listen). The filler tracks are great! I love Ladies Night, Rainy Day, (miss)understood, criminal, and the others. I don't think there's really a song that makes me go blehh like much of MY STORY did. Even though I thought this was a terrible year for Ayu A sides, she was saved by her wonderful B sides! I'm so siked that Alterna and Will made the album. I'll even take B&D, even though I don't really like it as a lead in. Ya ya ya da da da woah woah woah isn't the best way to begin this album. Overall, it beats out MY STORY and maybe even Rainbow! Not Memorial Address, though. That album holds a special place in my heart.

My score: 8.5/10

This album is EXCELLENT her best since RAINBOW in my opinion, My Story made me wanna hate Ayu's work forever. I love how her slow songs remind me of Jewel music, and she has a lot of great background vocals, sound effects, and catchy techno in this album, it's all of Ayu's best styles at their best on this album.

Well, thanks to Baernash of AHO (Who had the album up for D/L)....I ACTUALLY LIKE THIS ALBUM! Not as much as MY STORY, but I still like it a lot. BAD has even grown on me. The only song's that haven't grown on me are 'Criminal' and 'Pride'. I think I just needed to sit down with some headphones and listen from beginning to end to appreciate it. I love how the first four track are just 'WHAM' in-your-face and it never stops amazing you.

I don't like it as much as MY STORY because it really loses steam when it gets to (miss)understood. But it really is a great album, lots of good new songs. Sorry I was such a butt before about hating it, but we do all have the right to our own opinions. It's actually really good. ><;

Glad to see you don't hate the album!

Trust me, "criminal" on headphones = A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!

I've listened three times now, and I just can't get myself to really like any of the new tracks. (miss)understood, criminal, and rainy day are okay, but the rest are just weak to my ears. I still can't stand B&D or Pride, but Step you, alterna, is this love?, and Will remain excellent. Heaven and fairyland are starting to grow on me.
