This boost probably came from the concerts + special offers, not shenanigans.

I know at least one single that was number two and three in the dailies first week; HEAVEN.

They could always buy it from the stores, then use those copies to sell it at the concerts which would mean double counting the sales if concert sales are counted towards the charts. Oricon wouldn't know. Also, Oricon doesn't have a squeaky clean reputation anyways.

The so-called manipulation is not really avex... I think it's got a lot more to do with fans :|

AAA fans apparently banded together on their fanclub BBS to buy copies..

And avex just recently released a 4-version + memorial photo package.. Oh yeah! And a concert just happened on Saturday and Sunday..

If the concert happened on Saturday, the sales probably wouldn't probably have taken an upturn until the next day. What's probably happening is that there are Ayu fans who are taking up this 4 version offer or they are organizing themselves to buy the single.

All I know is, that is a very strange daily chart value, considering Ayu's sales trajectory for the rest of the week. I don't know if a 4 version gimmick alone is enough to boost sales by over 10K...

LMAO! not true, nor that'll happen. It's like what truehappiness said 7-10 k will be enough as long as they don't sell 7 k more than her. And please people, let's drop all the conspiracy talk, it sounds dumb, the streak isn't worth the money, plus this is Japan we're talking about. The sales seem up today, probably cuz of the fact that it's weekend, plus Ayu has concerts, and of course AVEX has boosted the promotion and they started giving away those bonuses. It's not like Ayu sold 100 k of MW in a day. I think that Ayu's streak of no1 albums was more important as she is already holding the record, which BoA can break with her next release, yet they DID ABSOLUTELY nothing about it. Plus both MW and Life are awesome songs, sure she isn't as popular as she used to be, but that doesn't mean people don't like her music anymore.

You're joking right? Don't take the x1.75 number for granted. For all we know, Ayu could sell more or less than the total that was estimated.

beh I've mistaken BoA for being no2 XD and completely forgot the fact she only has 6 albums.fine~! she needs another 2. nevertheless the whole conspiracy thing still sounds pretty dumb. And I am not taking the 1.75 index for granted, thats why I said she'll need up to 10k and not just 5... And I highly doubt the casual buyers will get all the 4 versions ^^ nor do I really see a purpose of getting them if you're not collecting them, and I guess we can't expect many to do so.
