The meaning behind "swamp man".
-It refers to a 1987 thought experiment devised by American philosopher Donald Davidson. Say that a man was to go for a walk through a swamp and would be struck and killed by a lightning bolt. At the same time, in the swamp nearby, another lightning bolt would make a copy of the dead man from the swamp mud. This part is a little hard for me to understand but the gist is the question "I'm what?" epitomizes issues of identity when a theory is used. Appearantly, today's concept of 'identity' is that there is no doubt (to who we are as individuals, humans, etc.). The image the listener receives doesn't relate to challenging evolution made for a very pure sound. Here's part of the album review. Will try to translate the other parts the best I can. In case you're wondering, Hiroshi, the reviewer, gives "swamp man" an overall positive review.
