Just wondering why members aren't given the option to edit the name of their topic ._. I'm sure there's a reason, and if not, could it be implemented?

I don't think the vBulletin system [which AHS uses] allows for that, however the phpBB system does.

I just tried it in the trash can.
I posted then after I edited to change the title, and it worked!
It worked last time as well, after the update

^ Are you sure? I believe it only works if no one has replied to the thread yet. Because I tried to do it on one of my old threads just now and didn't work.

Isn't changing the topic title something you can do for about 5 minutes since you've originally created the thread or am I mixing something up?

Apparently, the admins can set the time interval of when we can change it and when we can't..

Well then I think it should be open time, I think it would be helpful for things like Graphic Shops, or threads where there are updates constantly.

Yup, would be incredibly helpful to be able to change the thread title for longer than 5 minutes after the creation of it. I've been missing that a lot, especially during the time I was running update based threads, like the first AyuReady? thread and the schedule one.

People would have been able to see when I updated the thread by looking at the title, instead of having to scan through tons of posts at the end of the thread.

Also threads like sales count would have huge use of this, since the latest sales could simply be put right in the thread title instead, this would save AHS a tiny bit of bandwidth from people not having to open every single thread if they just want the numbers (although it seems to me those problems were solved recently?).

yes i remember a time when i made a thread but made a typo in the thread title. but i could not change it!!!! if i could change it now, then it would be great.
